After reading this case, I cannot help but reiterate; what I have come to believe and had posted earlier in response to a query.
That,
Fancy explanations notwithstanding; the subconscious mind is not, a dog you are taking out for a jay walk.
It’ll not, rather, it should not waver;
if,
you have labored with history taking + determining the Theme (the very reason for regression) and if,
the syntax of your command to the SC (suggestions) is logically correct.

I guess it is something akin to developing a software package, writing the code.
If you’ve not followed the rules; you end up with a bug, that cannot be debugged.

@deepakchaks also gets it as much as you on the importance of giving the right suggestion – also known as Calibration and for that being dexterous in determining the Theme
