Small things matter so pay attention which I hardly do, in real life, my kids call me ‘interrupting cow’ ( some story they read in preschool about active listening, it follows a playful cow who’s often interrupting conversations with her signature "MOO”) :sweat_smile:

Pre school is like play school! Focus is on mingling with other kids, learning to sit and basic things like listening to teachers, waiting for your turn, sharing and being able to ready for kindergarten! Gradual learning and entry to actual academic system! I’m sure you went through the same.

:sob::sob::sob:nawr, I was born in 2003 and the spiritual school Lalaji Memorial Omega international school opened by Our mission Sahaj marg (as in simple path, now renamed heartfulness for the global audience) was Founded in 2005,so my mum wanted us to immediately join at the age of 2 but the 3rd master/ spiritual Mentor at that time adviced against it, saying we should be allowed to enjoy our childhood, and that we are too young to start school just yet, and told us to come back when we were 4, so we did just that, but funnily enough this time I was two years too old to enter PreKG or LKG, and should have started directly from UKG, but cuz the school could also not allow me to skip two classes at once (although my mom had homeschooled us the necessary stuff) we could only skip Pre Kg and enter LKG, that’s why I finished my 12th when I was 18 and not 17​:sob::sob::sob::sob:

Only laaater I as I entered high school did I notice Montessori and stuff, but pre school is still a concept super new to me that I got to know of only when I got into uni​:squinting_face_with_tongue::fire::fire::fire:

It’s a common concept here, first step in to primary Education. Pre-school is optional! It’s more like for kids socializing and parents getting a break for few hours :grinning_face: Montessori schools are strict, it’s more like structured environment, my kids hated that as they were hyper energetic. Enjoy Uni life, they are the best days :cherry_blossom::cherry_blossom: I still miss it!
