Sharing this my beloved ones, in the hope that this might help anyone who still loves to read but isn’t able to catchup.

My policy for being able to still enjoy reading and finishing books:-

  1. Everyone has a story to tell, which can be extrapolated to, everyone has a book to write, some wrote and some are in the process of reading. So as per your Pre-Workshop prep, if you had seen the material on why it’s important to read, he says, if you read miscellaneous, you become miscellaneous. So my take on selecting books is, read only those books which have been written by " Genuine Realised Masters". Someone who really wants to share their experience without having any axe to grind.
  2. After having got one such book (physical copy), try to read it maybe before going to sleep. At least one page a day. 3.
  3. Make a note of when you started reading a book and when you ended reading it on the book, this will bring in accountability and in case you are not inclined to read for several consecutive days, it might be that you don’t really want to read that book, hence go on to the next book in your reading list.

  1. Select Good book on a realised master / by a realised master

  2. Read before going to bed or right after waking up, make it contingent upon an existing behaviour.
    :backhand_index_pointing_down:
  3. Note on the book, the start and end date. Change the book if you avoided reading for several days.

what else there tricks we could use?

@venu Sir, so rightly said!! I never thought it this way, but it just hit me! Now I feel there’s definitely a pattern behind this, at least for me personally, there’s a Hindi Novelist. and my sister and I have been reading her books since teen years and now I feel, at this point in my life, half of thoughts are mine, half are ghostwritten by her

So the real question isn’t just “what are you reading?”

It’s “what are you becoming, one page at a time?”

If you read depth, you become depth.. if you sit with clarity, you begin to think clearly. If you absorb wisdom, your inner voice starts sounding wiser. It’s less about what we occasionally touch, and more about what we consistently allow to stay!!

True that! I have adapted snail pace  even my pause has purpose  intentional stillness! I need a break from everything, just want to be with my thoughts! I’m on a roller coaster ride since this year started! No complaints though!
