Can we hypnotize ourselves without confusing 🫤

I have this question on my mind for a while now and finally have the courage to ask- Is there any recognized approach to using self-hypnosis for personal PLRT exploration? I want to understand whether it’s realistically possible to guide yourself into regression while also observing, processing, and interpreting what comes up, or whether the dual role limits the depth and safety, making a therapist necessary. I know we can get some answers through mediation and I do but now I crave more. Thank you! :folded_hands:t2:

Hi Harmeet,

I guess we can do if you have a single thing is agenda. But if the answer lies in 2-3 past events, then probing is very important. If you keep your logical mind vigilant, sub Q is not going to be of any help. That is where the role of PLRT becomes significant. You can get some insights, but to get the clear pictures, you need someone to ask the right question and keep you in sleeping logical mind status.

Harmeet,

Dr Brian Weiss in his book “Through time into healing"does mention about it with recorded tapes. He also suggests,to seek help from therapist, incase something comes up that cannot be handled.

I had tried in 2019 with recored voice of Dr Brian Weiss that was sourced online but unfortunately to no avail

I suppose you mean Regress yourself in a past life…
you will be able to do it after an year or two of through practice using the 15-Stage PLRT process… viz conducting sessions should become our second nature…

@devithiagarajan true!! Right now focus is to be a good therapist, may be I get there in time. But doing self hypnosis before bed puts me in a good sleep and I have crazy dreams😄

@venu that’s the ultimate goal for now, conducting PLR for anyone and everyone who’s ready :folded_hands:t2::folded_hands:t2:
