C is the Client.

Stages 1 to 9 done:

Stage 7: Relaxing. Cognitive fatigue is removed through the Ball of Light and Dave Elmen, Beautiful Garden, then a tunnel of light shows the path.
Stage 8: Theme Finalisation “Fear of darkness”
Pain level was 7/10.
After the session: 0/10.

(Guided her to revisit an earlier childhood memory. Then Shine went to the tunnel, from there, where she was in a happy moment of life when she was 2 years old. Shine recalled being in her sister’s room after accidentally spilling her mother’s Kumkum because it looked attractive. She remembered feeling scared that her mother would scold her while her sister was recording a video of the incident.)

T: When you’re in your mother’s womb. In the count of three, you are going to be inside your mother’s womb.
C: Yes…!! (For fraction of a second)
T: Who is your mama?
waited for some time to reply…
T: Shine, where are you now?
Unfamiliar place… (Confusion and fear are clearly visible on the face to the non-verbose.)
T: What are you feeling? Are you walking, flying, or what?
C: I’m doing nothing, nothing, standing.
T: Can you explain what you are feeling now?
C: unfamiliar/ unknown place

(The session then moved deeper into symbolic imagery, where Shine was asked to imagine an even earlier experience. She described finding herself in a dark, freezing place with dead trees, many crows, and complete darkness. In this scene, she identified herself as “Lily,” a 9-year-old girl, with cranky legs and feelings of fear and uncertainty. She was unable to explain her surroundings clearly but repeatedly expressed discomfort and a desire to leave the place. encouraged her to visualize a bright, protective light and reassured her that she was safe.)

T: Okay, so what is your age now?
C: nine years old,
T: What is your name?
C: Lily
T: Where are you now, Lily?
C: Full of fear, facial tears started coming out, rolling down so fast.
T: Lily, what is this place? Don’t scare; don’t scare. I’m with you; I’m with you. A light, a good light, is with you, a beautiful bright light. Don’t, don’t scare; you are just watching this from above…!!!
(crying loudly Just see from above, you already lived this, you’re just watching from above (after some time)
T: Lily, how are you feeling?
C: don’t know, don’t know.
T: See this darkness. Can you connect this darkness to your current life? When you are shining, see how you feel. Scared? Tell me what you’re feeling now.
C: too uncomfortable…
T: Don’t be uncomfortable, it’s okay, it’s okay, we’re going to solve this issue,
C: Humm
T: Lily, breathe in, breathe in. you’re watching from above, okay? breathe in. How are you feeling now? tell me. not okay, not okay, huh? tell me what you’re feeling like.
C: not okay, freezing cold. Is there
T: Do you have clothes with you? Yes, what kind of clothes are you wearing?
C: Lily, I can’t describe it.
T: Okay, it’s a long dress or a short dress; you can see your body, and what colour you are.
C: I don’t know; legs are cranky; they’re aching.
T: Why are you scared of,
C: Huh, because of the dark things, dark things are there.
T: What kind of dark things are these?
C: Same thing, same.
T: So why are you feeling scared? Lily,
C: Because… unable to explain it. Then saw a red-colored door. "Where is she is getting afraid of going to check what’s there.
T: Okay, you’re not comfortable with, can you go back a little to see where the darkness, this darkness is coming,
C: no,
T: You don’t want to; you want to come out of this, you don’t want to, you want to come out from this, okay?
T: Let’s go. You want to go back and see where it is coming from. We’ll solve this issue, never-ending, with no issues. Well, we will just watch from above, okay? Lily,
C: Hmm…
T: The peaceful and calm, a very helpful light, bright light, it’s within you; okay, just say “Lily,” don’t worry. Say, “Lily, don’t worry.” Yes, we are in light; nobody can harm us. We are warriors, so the almighty will help us to bring us out from this darkness. How are you feeling, Lily, now
C: Relax, this closes, these are the only ones; they’re watching you or gone.
T: Now, can you go back a bit? Okay, now let us go back even earlier
(Jump over other lifespan)
T: Now, can you say, where are you, where are you,
C: home,
T: How is this home? How does it look?
C: grey room and neighbours are there,
T: Who are they?
C: I don’t know
T: Do you know the names of the neighbors?
T: What is your age?
C: 10…….10 years,
T: How are you feeling now?
T: What is your name?
C: Dushyana.
After that, she got tired and wanted to emerge, so she slowly emerged.

Next Session:

(After leaving the dark scene, Shine described another setting where she was 10 years old and living in a gray-colored house. She identified herself again as Shine. She explored the house, describing bedrooms, a garage containing two cars, and a warm, peaceful environment. She reported feeling comfortable there and described herself as a girl with very long hair reaching her knees.
Towards the end of the session, asked about any spiritual guidance or higher presence. Shine stated that she saw only blackness and felt as though she was nowhere, without perceiving any higher being or light at that moment.

T: Let’s go in count from 3 to 1 to the life span where you got this fear of darkness; your soul knows it. What comes to your awareness?
C: Still standing and unable to reach and open the red door.
Somehow reached to the door and opened it, found that

C: It’s full of light—it’s eternity!!! Golden white light everywhere…!!!

Finally, guided Shine back to full awareness using a gradual counting technique. She was encouraged to visualize herself surrounded by healing light, allowing the earlier darkness to dissolve. By the end of the session, Shine reported feeling relaxed, refreshed, calm, and fully alert, completing the hypnosis safely.

Learning from the past two lives

At this young age, she understood the meaning of eternity, and she saw the red door, which she was afraid to approach. In a lifetime, when she was lily at last, she got the courage to go to the red door. She found that it was eternity and peace everywhere, where she was getting afraid of the unknown, and as she showed courage, she found lots of peace and harmony.
After the sessions, the pain level was zero. And now she is not afraid of the unknown and darkness.

Hi
Very well handled session by comforting the client come out of her shell and open up
With your guidance and the blessings of great Masters the client is able to come out of her fear of darkness which resulted in the pain level becoming 0.
Best wishes

@nidhicl I guess I somehow missed reading this case. I went through it again and realize how calmly you handled your client Dr Nidhi. You didn’t rush and guided her through out and when she was stuck you didn’t give up and she was finally able to open the Red door and from there you navigated her to heal in the bright light and the experience brought her the much needed comfort and she was able to get rid of her fear of darkness. Very well constructed and conducted sessions :heart: you are doing amazing Nidhi :ok_hand: keep shining!!

very well conducted!

Thank you so much, Dr. Nidhi, for sharing this case with us.

one small thing,it seems “Pain level before: 0/10” might have been intended as “Pain level after: 0/10.” just a small typo.

@nidhicl Well done. You handled the session very calmly. As a therapist most satisfying is when the pain level drop to 0.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you so much, Dr. Nidhi. :cherry_blossom:

I really liked the rapport and reassurance you maintained throughout the session. The way you reminded the client that she was safe and in control felt very comforting.

I also appreciated how patiently you stayed with the client during emotionally intense moments instead of rushing through them. The symbolic journey of the red door opening into light and eternity is beautifully described and was truly inspiring to read.

Just a few humble thoughts that came to my mind while reading, purely from a learning perspective. One thing I have been learning through our journey is that it sometimes helps to let the client’s subconscious unfold as naturally as possible by using more open-ended prompts, such as, “What’s coming to your awareness?”, “What do you become aware of?”, “Tell me more about what you’re experiencing,” or “Can you describe your surroundings?” This can sometimes allow the client to explore without any unintentional guidance.

I also feel that, in a few places, allowing a little more silence after the client’s responses might help even deeper memories or symbols emerge naturally. Sometimes those quiet pauses reveal the most beautiful insights instead of asking multiple questions together.

These are just my personal learnings, and I am sharing them as we are all on the same journey of learning and growing together.

Overall, I genuinely enjoyed reading your case. It beautifully reflects your compassion, patience and dedication to support your client.

Every case we share becomes a valuable learning opportunity for all of us. Thank you once again for sharing your experience.

Wishing you many more meaningful and transformational sessions ahead. :tulip::folded_hands:

Hi Nidhi,

I really enjoyed reading this case…@dr. nidhi, the way you created safety and patiently stayed with Shine during such an emotional journey is really beautiful.

The symbolism of the red door turning from something frightening into eternity and light is the most touching part of the session. It beautifully reflects how our deepest fears often hide the very healing we are searching for.

One small suggestion would be to spend a little more time exploring the emotions, beliefs and meaning behind the dark scene before moving ahead, if the client is comfortable. That could make the integration even deeper.

Overall, a heartfelt and well-handled one.

Thank you for sharing such a meaningful learning experience. Wishing you many more beautiful healing sessions ahead.

Yes, in the next case I will incorporate this suggestion, Supritee.

the way you presented the case is remarkable…I learned a lot!

You aced my blessed Dr. @nidhicl

Luck the clients who can find you and get a session from you.

Further to what all the Amarantians have shared, I’d chime with what our beloved Supu @kobrakulsh and your friend and batchmate @priyanka.bhu12 have shared.

This is not Stage 7, because in this stage I’ve designed for the therapist to take a short break after the fatigue from Stage 6 viz. History Taking. Please post your understanding of 7.

Amazing!

We use the Ericksonian approach where in, this statement would give the client the autonomy to not go in if they don’t want to.

So it can be, “You could allow yourself to feel* how it’d have been while you were in your smothers womb as I count from 10 to 1…”

Feel because she is K.

I feel like we lost a jackpot! after STM, we could have just suggested, “Lily. I know you are scared, however it’d be interesting to find what would you’ve found if could go there…”

Hold your ground, I can understand that it can get overwhelming due to abreactions.

This suggestion could have been non-leading or non-suggestive… tell me how?

“Take your time and tell me what you’re noticing,”… or “Describe whatever comes to your awareness,” like this :expressionless_face: :expressionless_face: :expressionless_face: :expressionless_face:
