Difference b/w spirit guide and spirit animal

Dear Dr Gunjan,

I would attempt a plain answer,

If the animal appears naturally in the flow of the past life narrative (e.g., a horse they’re riding, a dog by the fire), it’s most likely a detail from that lifetime which may be worked upon to derive the lessons out of those relationships. It can even happen that say flock of birds being experienced over the subpersonality may be closely related to present life trauma. Reference the fear of feathers in present life coming from being eaten by vultures during last moments in that lifetime.

another example is as under from Resolution of Stress induced asthma

Alternatively::::

If the animal appears to be “standing out.” with client might saying things like “It feels different” or “This animal is looking right at me” or *“It’s not just there—it wants to tell me something.” It may be a spirit guide. They may also appear in more than one session or form recurring dreams of the client.

I would say the approach would be same with either — A GUIDE SPIRIT IS A GUIDE !!

So for processing we way apply Direct engagement and suggest
“Notice if the animal has something it wants to communicate. Allow your sub conscious to bring that to your awareness. What could be the reason for this animal to be here?”

or may be we suggest :-
“What qualities does this animal represent for you? How might those qualities be useful in your current life?”

Best Regards,

Monesh
