History Taking / Presenting Concern

Amit sought PLRT primarily to understand a recurring pattern of financial pressure and instability. He described a repeated cycle in which investments grow, are later liquidated and redirected into business, followed by increased financial stress. He reported that this pattern has occurred approximately three to four times and titled it ‘Depleting Wealth.’

He described financial stress at approximately 8/10. His main trigger appeared to be taking risks beyond his comfortable capacity, particularly when loans or accumulated investments were placed at stake. He reported that money grows, but it does not remain long enough to create the wealth and freedom he desires.

Amit expressed a wish for financial freedom and time freedom. He wants more time to learn, travel, explore photography, experience food from different cultures, understand occult sciences, politics and AI, and possibly participate in new businesses as an investor, venture capitalist or mentor.

He described a tendency to become silent and withdraw when stressed or in conflict. He also reported increased gastric discomfort/gas when he suppresses conflict and keeps emotions inside.

His childhood was largely remembered as safe and loving, although there was an expectation to be a ‘good boy,’ remain controlled and behave appropriately. He recalled comparisons with his sister and a tendency to keep emotions to himself.

Amit remembered one specific childhood incident at approximately age eight when his father beat him for eating late. He felt hurt because his father had never beaten him before. No body location for the emotion was recorded because the therapist did not ask this question at that time.

He described a close and largely friendly relationship with his father. He felt protected and appreciated by him and learned observation, exposure to people, neatness, discipline, daily-life skills and learning through action. His father died when Amit was around 19. Amit continues to miss his presence and carries sadness that his father did not live long enough to see his achievements or enjoy the luxuries Amit hoped to provide.

His mother was described as caring, strong and responsible, though not highly expressive of affection. Amit felt he inherited responsibility and self-criticism from her, along with a wish that she had expressed more belief in him.

Strengths and Resources Identified

Family support; endurance; learning; adaptability; patience; empathy; ability to make people comfortable; comfort with people from different strata of society; curiosity; driving; photography; food; travel; and a sense of meaning when he is useful to others.

Spiritual Orientation / Expectations

Amit reported regular prayer, belief in reincarnation and previous experience of regression. He was open to PLRT and hoped the process would help him understand and change the recurring pattern of financial instability. He also reported fear around experiencing death in a past-life scene.

Session 1 - History Taking, Assessment and Theme Finalisation

The first session was devoted mainly to rapport building, detailed history taking, pre-induction discussion, assessment and finalisation of the therapeutic intention. The process began on 24 Aug 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and was continued on 25 Aug 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Session 2 - Induction, Visualisation and Present-Life Regression

Session 2 was conducted on 25 Aug 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. As in Sessions 3 and 4, the session began with Om chanting, body-warming exercises, induction and visualisation. Different induction/deepening methods were used across sessions, including progressive relaxation, Dave Elman-style induction, staircase/garden/temple visualisations and related deepeners. Amit generally appeared sleep-like while remaining responsive.

Present-Life Childhood Memory

C: My father punished me for eating late. He beat me.

T: How do you feel?

C: Hurt. He had never beaten me before.

(I did not ask where the emotion was felt in the body. This is a learning point for me to implement in the next case.)

No departed-person hypnodrama/closure with the father was conducted during Session 2.
Three happy-memory resource moments were also not conducted.

Session 3 - Age Regression, Affect Bridge, In-Utero and LBL Exploration

Session 3 was conducted on 26 Aug 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Affect Bridge

Meaning of Guilt Identified in Present Life

Amit linked the guilt primarily to his father dying before Amit could give him a better or more luxurious life and before his father could witness his achievements.

He wanted his father to feel proud of him and experience the success he hoped to create.

Inner Child Healing - Present-Life Younger Amit

T: Allow a younger version of you from this present life who still carries some part of this feeling to come into your awareness. How old is he?

C: 18 to 20.

T: Where is he?

C: At home with mother.

T: How does he feel?

C: How can he make his Dad proud? To be successful in life. He wants to reach a stage where people will ask his advice about money, knowledge, social work and business.

T: What does this younger you need?

C: Confidence.

T: What would you like to say to him?

C: Don’t worry. Everything will be alright. I am there to support you.

T: What does the younger you want to tell you?

C: He is asking if I am capable of achieving something. He doesn’t know what that something is.

T: What does he need from you?

C: No expectation from me. It is going to be self-study, his own learning, experience, perseverance and patience.

T: What would you like to do for him now?

C: I told him I will be available whenever he needs me. I kept my hand on his shoulder.

The younger Amit appeared calmer, more peaceful and relieved after receiving reassurance. There was no hug or merging; the adult self maintained supportive contact by placing a hand on the younger self’s shoulder.

Positive Anchor / Integration

A sunlight-based positive anchor was used for happiness and the learnings from the session.

T: What are you doing differently?

C: Patience. Calm my mind and find a solution.

T: What are you leaving behind?

C: Guilt.

T: What are you taking forward?

C: Learnings.

T: What are you choosing now?

C: Live your life.

T: What is one message or understanding you would like to remember in your everyday life?

C: Be happy with what you have.

The phrase ‘Be happy with what you have’ was client-generated and was used as the post-hypnotic suggestion/integration message.

Emergence and Immediate Response

After emergence, Amit appeared peaceful and happy.

Follow-Up

I called Amit the following day. He reported that he had slept well and continued to feel peaceful.

Observations and Case Formulation

The most consistent theme across the history and regression material was the relationship between achievement, responsibility, financial pressure and the wish to make the father proud.

In the past-life narrative experienced as Abby, the father died when the sub-personality was young, responsibility increased, hard work followed, and the life ended prematurely before the fruits of that effort could be fully enjoyed. Amit himself identified a parallel with losing his father at approximately age 19 and carrying the wish that his father could have witnessed his achievements.

The client identified guilt as a significant burden, specifically guilt that his father died before Amit could provide him with a better life and allow him to experience Amit’s success.

The emotional charge associated with the throat reduced subjectively from approximately 8-9/10 to 1/10 during the session.

The client-generated resources that emerged most strongly were patience, endurance, confidence and the ability to calm the mind and find a solution.

The client-generated integration messages were:

‘Live your life,’

‘Let go of what is not in your hand,’ and

‘Be happy with what you have.’

For documentation purposes, the regression imagery is recorded as the client’s subjective experience. The therapeutic emphasis is placed on the meanings, patterns and changes identified by the client rather than on verification of the imagery as historical fact.

Primary Learning from the Case

The main observation was that the client appeared able to access peace, confidence, resourcefulness, endurance and patience as internal resources for dealing with difficult situations.

The process appeared to help him connect the recurring financial-pressure theme with a deeper emotional pattern involving responsibility, achievement, loss of father and guilt.

Self-Reflection / Learning Points

This was the first PLRT case and provided several important learning points.

During the Affect Bridge, the presenting emotion, body location and SUD were not clearly established before the bridge was created. In future sessions, these should be anchored and recorded before beginning the Affect Bridge.

The past-life boy’s belief ‘No one will come. I have to be on my own’ was identified but not explored to completion or resolved. In future, I would pause to explore the emotional meaning, body sensation, belief, and need before moving ahead.

During the age-eight present-life memory of being beaten by the father, the therapist did not ask where the hurt was experienced in the body. This somatic question should be included in future work.

No hypnodrama/closure with the deceased father was conducted despite the father’s strong emotional significance. This could be considered in a future session only if clinically appropriate and desired by the client.

I appropriately did not force additional imagery when the client could not continue LBL, could not recall more KMF2C material, or produced no post-death response.

Recommendations for Client

· Daily integration: Spend a few minutes each day reconnecting with the client-generated message, ‘Be happy with what you have,’ while identifying what is already meaningful and valuable in the present.

· Decision pause: Before major financial or business-risk decisions, create a deliberate pause and ask: ‘Am I acting from a considered opportunity, or from pressure to prove something?’ Important financial decisions should continue to be evaluated through objective risk assessment and appropriate financial advice rather than regression material alone.

· Father reflection: Write privately on three themes - ‘What I wish I could have shown you,’ ‘What I wish I could have told you,’ and ‘What I carry forward from you.’ The purpose is to retain love and learning without requiring guilt to remain.

· Separate love from guilt: The client may remind himself that releasing guilt does not require releasing the emotional connection, memories or values associated with his father.

· Use identified resources: In stressful situations, use the sequence ‘Pause → Patience → Analyse → Respond’ and the client’s own phrase, ‘Calm my mind and find a solution.’

· Sunlight anchor: When naturally noticing morning sunlight, pause briefly, breathe comfortably and recall the chosen message ‘Be happy with what you have’ together with patience, endurance and peace.

· Emotional expression: Practise communicating difficult feelings rather than withdrawing completely. A simple phrase may be, ‘I need some time to process this, but I would like to come back and discuss it.’

· Lifestyle enjoyment: Intentionally make time for activities the client identified as life-giving - driving, photography, travel, food experiences, learning and meaningful connection - without requiring every activity to have a productivity or financial objective.

· Daily regulation: A brief routine of diaphragmatic breathing, quiet reflection and asking ‘What is in my hands today, and what can I let go?’ may support ongoing integration.

· Medical support: Persistent gastric symptoms should be medically evaluated where appropriate. Psychological or regression work should complement, not replace, medical assessment.

· Follow-up: Review after approximately 2-4 weeks, including financial-pressure intensity, guilt related to father, throat sensation, ability to enjoy present life, tendency toward high-risk decision-making and ability to express conflict more directly.

Overall Outcome

At the end of the four-session process, the client reported feeling peaceful and happy. The following-day follow-up indicated good sleep and continued peacefulness. The principal subjective shift was the reduction of the throat-associated emotional charge from approximately 8-9/10 to 1/10, alongside the emergence of confidence, patience, endurance and a client-generated orientation toward enjoying the present rather than remaining driven only by pressure and achievement.
