Presenting Concern (Verbatim)

“Peace of mind.”

History & Psychosocial Impressions (from intake)

Initially hesitant to disclose. After ~60 minutes of rapport-building, the following themes emerged: persistent “unknown stress,” emotional detachment, and overwhelm, likely linked to relationship trauma; father’s death in adolescence; death of a childhood friend in a road accident for which he felt blamed and guilty; frequent comparisons in childhood; a stressed single mother who disciplined harshly; failing 7th grade with mental/physical punishment; limited teacher support; father once shot in the shoulder related to hawala activity; long-standing helplessness; regret over leaving family for studies when they needed him; stressors from working with unskilled laborers and eventual closure of properties due to HR issues.

Emotion wheel: Fear/terror of the unknown; Anger with societal systems that force people to become something they don’t want to.
Aim: Peace of mind.

Pre-Induction Education & Consent

The client believed hypnosis could be used to “make him do unethical things.” This was addressed directly: hypnosis was framed as focused attention with preserved agency; he remains aware and in control throughout. He resonated with the principle, “what you resist, persists,” acknowledging long-term emotional suppression had worsened distress. Consent obtained.

Methods (Overview)

  • Inductions & Deepeners: Progressive relaxation; cosmic awareness; ball of light; healing garden; tunnel of light.
  • Bridging: Affect bridge for isomorphic patterns.
  • Safety Anchors: Reassurance, resource installation, Garden of Healing; Pyramid/Guides imagery.
  • Special Technique: In Utero (to address father-related imprints).
  • Monitoring: IMR, abreactions (REM), micro-movements, breathing.

SESSION 1 — 24 Aug 2025 (Approx. 2:00 PM–6:30 PM)

Process: Progressive relaxation → Cosmic awareness → Ball of light → Garden of healing → Tunnel of light → Significant event targeting.
Initial response: Client reported only darkness, with visible forehead tension. Reassurance of safety/control provided. Minutes later, he perceived a “sudden burst of very bright white light,” described post-emergence as relaxing and peaceful.
Abreactions: Rapid Eye Movement noted; diaphragmatic breathing slowed; occasional head movements; lip flickering (processing).

Integration & Client’s Post-Session Reflections (Verbatim summary)

After integration, the client shared that he “was so unaware” that PLRT “exists and works.” He recognised a prior ego around reading news/books and “knowing the world,” and felt his perception had shifted-“I am a fragment of the Divine Mother.” He felt increased love and compassion. At his hotel, when staff reported an AC fire, he calmly told them to call a technician; previously, such events would trigger panic and failure-stress. He reported feeling empowered to change his life with “the blessings of the Lord,” despite earlier identifying as an atheist. He expressed greater love for family/staff and a new understanding: “We are here to evolve through experiences; don’t worry too much.”

Therapist guidance provided: Suggested spiritual reading, daily meditation (IDANIM app), circadian reset (wake early; he typically slept until 11–12 AM), nutrition because he was eating from a restaurant for many days, hydration because he used to stay in his room all the day and drink 1-2 l of waters only, and two days of rest (per Master Venu’s protocol). A heartfelt message was received from him three days later.

Outcomes

  • Primary aim met: Marked subjective peace of mind; pain reduced 7 to 1.
  • Emotional processing: Release of relationship-grief material; restoration of father-linked security via In Utero.
  • Cognitive shift: Misconception about hypnosis replaced by an agency-based understanding; acceptance over suppression.
  • Behavioral shift: Greater calm in real-world stressor (AC incident); improved affect regulation; intention to adopt meditation/sleep hygiene.
  • Spiritual integration: Experience of safety/guidance (Garden, Pyramid, white light) internalised as resources.

Therapist Reflections

  • Spontaneous emergences after engrams likely reflected the client’s autonomic discharge pattern—his system sought brief orientation after each emotional peak. Allowing this rhythm (rather than resisting) preserved trust and deepened processing.
  • Long pauses were productive: head sway, lip flickers, and REM signalled active integration despite minimal speech.
  • Boundaries & choice were critical in intimacy-themed content (client declined exploration); honouring consent safeguarded the alliance and still yielded downstream gains.

Ethical/Clinical Notes

  • Client identity anonymised, explicit consent for educational publication obtained.
  • PLRT was adjunctive, not a replacement for medical care. Client instructed to continue BP medications and follow up with testing as advised by his doctor.
  • Cultural/spiritual language used as client-congruent metaphors for safety and meaning.

What a great start—congratulations, Akshay!
Your script was very well articulated. I’m really amazed by the clarity in each of your steps and explanations.

However, I would appreciate it if you could clarify the in utero experience part a bit more, as I found that section a little confusing.
Thank You
Parvathy

The father died in early age when he was in 20s and out for education. Eventually the father was very busy during the time he was staying with him so may be he didn’t understand completely about emotions of his father as the father was involved in some unlawful activities hawala ( informal money transaction) and didn’t have time to be with his family. I regressed him to feel what he wanted to feel. The client felt happy seeing him in his arms as a little baby. He was contempt to be there for ~5 mins ( what he did for 5 mins is not disclosed to me but he felt something).

Please tell me if there are specific questions which needs to be addressed. I’ll grateful for your concern and time.

@physioneha

Thank You so much Akshay for your prompt reply, i just have one doubt that you have mentioned the father child bond as in utero experience, could you please explain more about that .
Thank you

Is it possible for you to frame specific questions, as I feel that I have shared everything I know? @physioneha

Great session. Reading your session helps to recall the PLR steps… Thanks.

Dear Akshay,

Heartiest congratulations to you on your First PLR Case. My learnings are as under for our consideration pl,

Well summarized highlighting the pertinent aspects !

We have worked out the theme here. pain 7/1.
and we intend to use the words of theme arrived at in induction to propel the sub-c to the very cause/origin.

How does he feel when he doesn’t have Peace Of Mind ! does the feeling converge at the THEME strengthening it further.

A very pertinent point highlighted by you here.

How did we intend to use this in 15 stages process?

Bingoo !

Could you help me in understanding this pl.

Session I we intend to do Stage 1 to may be commence with history taking.

“the expression and consequent release of a previously repressed emotion, achieved through reliving the experience that caused it (typically through hypnosis or suggestion).”

Apt for K client.

the sub c has gone to this point for second time .May be we could have utilised paraphrasing here to anchor in the client and guided him further.

Did we guide or client went by himself?

Consider paraphrasing here to build up the scene and then assist in further exploration in place of simply asking if he would like to go there. The mighty sub c would not like to go at a point of trauma and hence resist it in various ways.

Well established our workshop learning about being in trance and yet being in full control.

We use the KMF for past life processing and the client is still in present life.

As i understand we processed the present life trauma/s.

May be me use paraphrasing here and guide the client to explore rather than ask them.

This is a very important learning point for all therapists. Here the goodness of client that he releveled that he was satisfied. In the other case the therapist would get left high and dry speculating what actually happened in the session esp the resultant effect.

Second time in the session .

Very well.

The Nobel reason foe a Humane Being !

May I know the feeling used for creating the bridge here.

Consider : Having crossed the bridge walking on soil ground with little green grass. what are are you wearing ?

Consider to guide the client to attempt an interaction with the old man.

Consider : As you walk here on this road , what could be the age of this person?

Now is the time to experience/feel/re live.

Amazing !

Consider " Having gone back in time you are experiencing youself to be in a flat, but the walls are made of stone the time by clock is 1 am what could have brought you here ?

May be we could further dwell on the overall scene here to anchor in the client.

That’s nice to know. However in the situation of client not revealing any details it is difficult for the therapist to guide the session further. May be this aspect has to be brought up at ‘setting expectations’.

May be we can frame our suggestions more diligently.

My best wishes ,

Regards,

Monesh
