**Jyotish & PLRT: The Karmic Bridge of Rahu and Ketu**

When the stars remember what the soul forgets

The Meeting of Two Worlds

In the sacred meeting ground of Jyotish (Vedic astrology) and Past Life Regression Therapy (PLRT), both arts tell the same story, the soul’s evolution through time. While Jyotish reads the celestial code of karma, PLRT allows the soul to revisit its forgotten memories. The most profound link between these two lies in the shadowy duo, Rahu and Ketu, the karmic nodes that represent the head and tail of the cosmic serpent.

The Myth of the Cosmic Serpent

According to ancient Vedic lore, during the churning of the cosmic ocean (Samudra Manthan), a being named Svarbhānu secretly drank the nectar of immortality. When Lord Vishnu severed him, his head lived on as Rahu, and his tail as Ketu. Since that divine moment, Rahu and Ketu chase the Sun and Moon, symbolizing humanity’s eternal pursuit of illusion and truth, attachment and liberation. In Jyotish, these are not physical planets but mathematical shadow points, intersections of the Moon’s path and the Sun’s. They show what the soul must embrace (Rahu) and what it must release (Ketu).

The Rahu–Ketu Axis: The Soul’s Evolutionary Line

In every birth chart, Rahu and Ketu stand exactly opposite — forming a karmic axis of growth and memory.

  • Rahu = Desire for Evolution → Where the soul hungers to experience. It represents unfinished desires, obsessions, and worldly learning.
  • Ketu = Mastery of the Past → Where the soul has “been there, done that.” It reveals past-life mastery, detachment, and spiritual residue.
In PLRT, clients often relive exactly these axis imbalances, eg; a Rahu-in-Scorpio might revisit lifetimes of power play or betrayal; a Ketu-in-Virgo may recall being overworked or hypercritical. Regression brings awareness and release, restoring the equilibrium Rahu and Ketu eternally seek. These polarities often reappear as emotional storylines — Rahu’s hunger and Ketu’s avoidance, creating the perfect framework for understanding and integration.

PLRT Integration: Healing the Rahu–Ketu Memory

During regression, these nodal themes often replay vividly —

  • A Rahu in Scorpio client may relive betrayal, secrecy, or loss of control.
  • A Ketu in Leo may revisit lifetimes of fame that ended in isolation.
  • A Rahu in Pisces could uncover ascetic or monastic incarnations seeking emotional completion.

By acknowledging these imprints, PLRT helps transform Rahu’s restless craving into learning, and Ketu’s detachment into wisdom.

Together, Jyotish diagnoses, and PLRT heals, turning fate into conscious evolution.

“The stars record what the soul remembers and the soul reveals what the stars conceal.”

@gunjangaur0905 thank you! Yes it’s like our horoscope is the mirror we look into :pray:t2: there’s always free will to improve our karma/perception towards life. Nowadays Jyotish is limited to insta and tik-tok reels and 90% are misleading the people with so much conviction that’s beyond frustration and disappointment.

Thanks Harmeet for bringing this topic in the Forum.
During my early life, when I was in thirties (year 1987-1990), I took Astrology very seriously and developed a number of computer programs for interpreting horoscopes. But, when I tried these programs on ‘500 Notable Horoscpoes by B. V. Raman’, I could not find a sinlge Sutra to be 100% true. Then I left Astrology and used to say that Astrology is not an exact science. Now, I have come to believe that horoscopes only indicate what we have brought from previous lives and the blue prints we have decided before coming here. Actual events also depends on what we have done so far in present lives. Similarly while doing FLP, I always explain to clients that future also depends on what choices they will make from now on and may not be what they see.
