.
“Why do bad things happen to good people ?”…
( Below are all from my personal experiences…)
If there is one sentence I hear almost every day in my therapy room, it is this…
“Maybe this is my karma… maybe something is wrong with me… maybe I’m meant to suffer.”
We say it so casually, as if some invisible “outside force” or some “planetary alignment” is permanently writing the script of our lives.
But let me tell you something I’ve learned after guiding so many people and yes, after living through my own shadows that,
Karma is not an outside force. It is an inside echo.
And nothing… absolutely nothing… changes outside until something moves inside.
Let me explain this through one of my most powerful stories I’ve ever experienced, one that changed the way I see karma forever.
When a woman came to me for therapy n said… that she and her husband are destined for divorce…their astrologer confirmed it.
I remember sitting with her when she showed both her and her husband’s charts showing mandatory divorce within three years.
She spoke with the kind of helplessness…
“ It’s in my chart… it’s my karma… it’s written.”
But what shook me was what she shared next…
When she went through her past life regression, she discovered that in five lifetimes, she and her husband were meant to be together. In all five, they didn’t make it…each lifetime ended with separation. This lifetime was simply another repetition of the same karmic script. In that moment something cracked open inside her n she said…
“If this pattern keeps repeating, maybe the invitation is not to leave… maybe it is to complete.”
This one line still gives me goosebumps…n now my life experiences tell me that the Universe never repeats pain to punish us, It repeats It to heal us…
This is where we deeply misunderstand karma. We think that,
“Something outside is attacking us”
“Bad luck is following us”
“Planets are against us”
But the truth from Vedic wisdom, quantum science and trauma psychology is the same
that our outer world always mirrors our inner world.
Whatever remains unprocessed inside us
• childhood neglect
• fear
• guilt
• shame
• memories we stuffed down
• wounds we never touched.…turns into dense frozen energy. And this dense energy does not disappear…it repeats…it attracts…it returns.
Not to hurt us.
But because the Universe is whispering
“Please… finish this. Liberate self. Complete what was left incomplete.”
My own experience says that the dark side we avoid… is the dark side that controls us…
Carl Jung was right saying that until we make the unconscious conscious, it will keep directing our life… and we will call it fate…which in India, we call it karma.
This same unhealed energy then pulls people toward the same abusive partners, the same financial struggles, the same emotional patterns, the same self-sabotage
And we say…
“ Why do bad things happen to good people?”
May be because good people often carry deep pain they never faced.
We try to be positive. We try manifestation. We chant. We do rituals.
All wonderful things…
But nothing changes unless we go within.
I have seen darkness inside myself.
Not metaphorical darkness.
The real kind.
There was a time when my own trauma, neglect and emotional pain submerged me into such deep polarity that my kundalini rose uncontrollably and I could perceive the darkest energies, I felt attacked by something beyond the physical, I felt the victim, I felt the abuser, I felt the helpless child and the raging shadow.
There were no coaches back then. No internet. No support systems.
Just me, my inner power, and a vow I made to myself at 15…
“No matter what forces come from outside, my inner power will always be greater.”
And that vow saved me…that vow is what I carry into my therapy room today.
Someone once asked me about
how I hold so much love for people stuck in their darkest shadows?..
My reply…very simple… because every wounded person in front of me is a part of me I have already healed.
This is why shadow work makes us compassionate, we stop judging our darkness, stop fearing our pain, stop blaming ourself and begin loving the parts we once hid.
And from that love… we begin to heal.
There is a concept in quantum science by Buckminster Fuller,
We cannot destroy an old reality. But we can create a new one that makes the old irrelevant.
Imagine our problems are a small line on paper n we can not erase it. We can not fight it. We can not destroy it.
But we can certainly draw a bigger, stronger, brighter line right next to it.
And suddenly… the small line disappears.
In my understanding this is how karma changes: Not by fighting the old pattern, but by building a new pattern so powerful that the old dissolves…just like that woman who chose not to repeat the pattern of separation in this lifetime, but to complete it.
We heal all layers, the
**Psychology (**Our beliefs, behaviours, traumas, victim identities.), Biology
(Because trauma lives in the body, not just the mind.), Chemistry ( the emotional hormones and brain circuits that keep repeating patterns.), Energy ( the vibrations of guilt, fear, shame, abandonment, anger.),
Sacred Geometry ( the deeper karmic blueprint, the very pattern of our destiny.)
So, when we heal all these… our karma becomes obsolete.
Not because we escaped it.
But because we outgrew it.
If the life feels stuck in a loop…
If relationships keep breaking… If money keeps slipping away… If we keep attracting the same situations… If we fear that planets or past-life debts are controlling us… then let me tell you the truth that nothing outside is controlling us. It is our unprocessed energy is controlling our outside world.
And the moment we decide to go within, n hold space for our darkness, love our wounds…something magical happens…
Our karmic pattern breaks. Our destiny reshapes. Our soul releases. Our life transforms…and we step into the person we were always meant to be. Not a victim of karma, but the creator of our reality.
Because finally, we understand that
" Karma is not a punishment…Karma is always a mirror."**
