Generally we say that we have karmic accounts to be settled so we are born in the family to sort it out. If suppose a couple adopts a child how does it work? will there be a past life connection ?

@ushapssk in my HO- when a child is adopted, it doesn’t break karmic law, it simply means the karmic thread is coming through a different doorway. May be child’s soul may need a specific environment or guidance that the adoptive parents can offer.

@ushapssk Yes — adoption can still be karmic.A child may not share biology with adoptive parents, but they often share past-life connections or soul contracts.
Biological parents give the body;…..adoptive parents are usually the ones the soul chose for emotional and karmic lessons.

Dr Brian Weiss in his book "Through time into healing " quotes “Blood maybe thicker than water,spirit is thicker than Blood”.Its mentioned that adopted relations can be traced back to past lives.Astrologically too there are correlations in thier chart.

Sri Ramakrishna and his disciples mainly Bhramadandji Maharaj who he declared as his spiritual son…
I’ve also conducted sessions where the parents irrespective of whether they were biological or adopted children loved them the same. Even upon coming to know of this fact after growing up, the adopted child only has the curiosity to know who their parents were and why they “rejected” them… that is unfortunately this is how most of them perceive this, but love their nurtures all the more… well said, my blessed @hc2101 and Dr. @gunjangaur0905

From what I’ve understood about karma, soul contracts, and how families are formed, one truth repeats itself again and again, that every soul chooses its parents… either through the womb or through life’s path.
Adoptive parents are chosen souls too.
I say this from my own journey. When I adopted my daughter Meera, I had no idea she would bring such grace into our lives. After losing my first child and being told medically that I could never conceive again, her arrival felt like divine intervention. And after she came, I was blessed with two sons. Sometimes I feel she chose me, not the other way around.
A child always finds the lap where healing must happen, and a mother finds the child who will help her soul grow. This bond is one of the most sacred karmic exchanges I have witnessed.
So yes adopted children almost always have a karmic connection with the family. And even when they don’t, they come with a new soul contract which again is equally powerful.
Families are not created by biology; they are created by energy, by unfinished soul stories, by hearts that are destined to meet.
Some souls arrive through the womb. Some arrive through destiny. But every soul arrives exactly where it is meant to…
