New induction: Going down the Stream

Very well my blessed @sandhya
Thanks for sharing

Transforming this to Eriksonian, what could this suggestion be?

@kobrakulsh
Very well! I felt a deep sense of satisfaction reading your take. Phenomenal

And somewhere ahead… in the distance… begin to notice a person

What would this same suggestion be in Eriksonian?

@arumugam.vembu
Truly so, no matter how secular i try to be, Om has a divine depth that truly amazes me.
I’ve started drafting the induction based on Om

It has to be a blockbuster :joy: production.
So here’s the plan

  1. Reading ā€œLiving with the Himalayan masters ā€œ
  2. Visit a sacred and secluded cave in Himalayasā€

The current stream induction for me is inspired by my earlier visit to Gomukh in 2018

Gangamya emerges from this glacier after having travelled 2 kilometres through a tunnel

This is how i feel while conducting it :hugs: every time

All the inductions we use are currently inspired by my pilgrimages. Eagerly awaiting for the Masters to help me get approval from Neha for the much delayed trip to work on drafting the great grand om induction

Thank you for pointing that out, Pa—I am truly sorry. :folded_hands:

You are absolutely right; the suggestions work best when they are indirect. Here they are:

  • As you slide down….you might begin to notice a sense of relaxation within you.

Or

-As you slide down…. allow yourself to feel the gentle sensation of calmness spreading through your body.

Let me know if further changes are needed here. Thank you once again, Pa :folded_hands::blush::sparkles:

Thank you Venu Sir for this question:folded_hands::folded_hands:.

Below can be the Ericksonian style/way

So, instead of

[ And as you slide down… you start to relax ]

Eriksonian version can be like…

" And as you continue to move in your own way… you may begin to notice certain changes happening all by themselves… perhaps a softening… perhaps a sense of ease… or maybe just a knowing that relaxation doesn’t need to be forced… it simply arrives when it’s ready. "

This may keep relaxation more as a discovery than an instruction.

Similarly, instead of

" And somewhere ahead… in the distance… begin to notice a person "

Eriksonian framing can be…

" And sometimes, when the mind is gently drifting… it naturally becomes aware of presences… impressions… or even a sense that something or someone is there… without needing to define it… yet, allowing clarity to emerge only as and when it feels appropriate. "

In this way the subconscious may be invited to recognize and not look.

What I love about Eriksonian language is that it allows the client to feel autonomous,

safe and unpressured.

Nothing is demanded…

Nothing is rushed…

Everything is allowed.

Even the subtlest shifts in language create the deepest trance .:folded_hands::folded_hands::folded_hands:

Thank you so much, Venu sir…

this truly means a lot :folded_hands:

I am deeply touched, not as a therapist but also as a learner who is constantly evolving under your guidance.:folded_hands::folded_hands:

If my words cud momentarily quiet your conscious mind, it is becoz of the space you create as a mentor, where learning is always expansive.

I’m genuinely grateful to you for asking the question, as it opened a doorway for me too, to reflect, refine and articulate something that often flows intuitively in my sessions. This affirms of how much we grow through dialogue and not just techniques.

Feeling blessed to be learning, unlearning and deepening under your mentorship. Thank you for holding such a beautiful field for all of us :folded_hands::folded_hands::folded_hands:
