Reason for PLRT – To explore the concept of PLRT (As she is a known friend)
History Taking
Born in a small town in Uttar Pradesh. Travelled across many cities in Uttar Pradesh due to father’s nature of work. They were 4 siblings – Two elderly sister, and one younger brother. First Elder sister passed away when she was just 2 years old. As she grew up she felt that her mother was specifically biased towards her son. Although when confronted, she denied it completely. She started crying when she was narrating this point. Later on, as her sister also went into adulthood, she also felt the same thing. However her father was very encouraging and treated all children equally. Hence she was very close to her father.
She had two affairs which ended abruptly, especially the second one as the boy’s family didn’t agree for the marriage.
She graduated in Arts while her wish was to pursue Archeology. She is very much interested in history, medieval period Indian history like Cholas, The Guptas etc. However, her father didn’t allow stating that Archeology didn’t have any future as a career.
Marriage was good. She has two sons. The first son was born during a challenging pregnancy as well as challenging personal time. Later on the child was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes. A chance encounter with a book on seven chakras brought some relief and she has accepted that her child’s life has its own planning and way due to his and her karma. She made peace with herself. The second child pregnancy was a breeze and everything went smoothly.
She has fear of water, height and death.
Her favourite vacation spot is beach and forests.
She has many dreams but hardly remembers anything.
Her intuition is powerful and she has psychic abilities and many a times have visions of forth coming events.
She had a recurring dream of going up the hills in a curvy path, overlooking a huge waterbody, an old house and a old toilet structure of olden times.
Once she visited a cousin’s place in Uttarakhand and she was surprised to see exactly the same uphill road, the old toilet structure, a dam over river and a Gurudwara besides it. She felt a déjà vu. After this visit, the recurring dream stopped.
Theme Selection
Since this was a curiosity driven PLRT, not much came out in history taking. However, three distinct theme could be taken as a theme, as each of these was bothering her to some extent (as came out during the history taking).
- Traumatic Relationship with mother.
- Why so much interest in Architecture
- Why her son is diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes.
The client wanted to go with the first two, discarding the third. However, we could go with only one.
So, it was decided to put pain level for each of the theme.
Her pain level for each theme was as follows
- Traumatic Relationship with mother. - 6
- Why so much interest in Architecture – 10
This actually surprised me because while narrating the episodes she was very emotional and crying and now pain level only 6 for the first theme.
She reasoned out that maybe because she has started to accept this behavior as her mother is now 80+yrs old. After explaining she re-calculated the pain level to 10 for both.
We started the session with the theme traumatic relationship with mother.
We started the induction session with Dave Elman, followed by Progressive Relaxation and Ball of light and Visualisation with staircase going to Garden. This was followed by Reframing on the Cliff for all traumatic events upto the womb. (In the womb and immediately after birth there was no trauma).
Post the Cliff, an affect bridge was made out of the traumatic pain of her relationship with mother and she emerges in a Past Life
What Therapist said :(T)
What Client Said : (C)
(In the entire session, Client was very actively participating with continuous commentary like description of what she was seeing and feeling. Many descriptions are edited for space and typing purpose but the gist is presented. The session lasted for more than 3hrs)
T : What comes to your awareness
C : I am walking along a criss cross path in the middle of a field with farms on both sides. The road is going upwards, across the woods.
T : What are you wearing
C : I am wearing a black skirt with white petals. No footware.
T: How old are you
C : I am young. About 10-12yrs old.
T: Anyone else with you
C : No
C : (After walking across the farms, river, forest) I see a mud house in front of me (Then she describes in detail the construction of the house, MOC (Material of Construction) of the house, the design of the rooms etc.
T : Anyone there with you.
C : No
(The client was tried to anchor there in the house but she could see no one. She was alone. She was happy. She doesn’t know her name, nor which place it is and nor why she is there, but she is feeling very happy and content.
She is moved to a dinner time of the same lifetime. She is able to see the place where people have their dinner but she could see no one in the house, or dinner table or kitchen. However, she again described in detail the design and architecture of the table, kitchen etc.
She was moved to another significant event of that life time. She saw a bride over a river besides a forest. She described in detail the architecture and construction of the bridge. She described the forest in detail and the uneven path leading to it. Again she was alone, age around 17-18yrs and she was happy.
She was moved to another significant event in that life time. To this she could see the same bridge from a nearby house and her age was about 23-24yrs. Name is Sapna.
She was then moved to the last moment of that life time.
C : I am lying on a cot. A young lady is besides me. She is having ghunghat (covering of face) hence I am not able to identify her. But she is sad. I see some ladies far off. The whole atmosphere is sad. She was 83 years old when she died.
T : What do you feel was the learning from this life time.
C : I have some work which is not completed. My life was sad. The ladies surrounding me were sad not because I died but because my life was very sad.
When no more information was forthcoming, the client was taken to another life time
T : At the count of 3 to 1, you may go to that specific life time from where the relationship problem between you and your mother in current life started. 3-2-1
: What comes to your awareness
C : I am in a big haveli type mansion. She is wearing Ghagra Choli and she starts describing the Haveli room by room – its architecture, design, curvature, colour, MOC etc. No one else is in the Haveli. She is about 43yrs old. She feels she is quite affluent. Not able to recall her name.
T : At the count of 3 to 1, you may go to a lunch time in the Havelli, where all of you and your family members have lunch.
C: She starts describing the place in all its grandeur where lunch is taken. She cannot see the kitchen (Later she informs that since she doesn’t cook, she didn’t knew the whereabouts of the kitchen, but knew where people took their meals).
T: Please look around to see if there are anybody who is taking lunch or waiting for the lunch.
C : With great difficulty she finds one person who is having lunch. She says she may be my husband. I like him. On asking, she told his name is Dhanraj, But she cannot identify that person with anybody in current life. (Tried to anchor this with many queries but not successful)
T : At the count of 3-2-1, please go to the next significant event in this life time
C : I am still looking at Dhanraj. (She was not responding to go to the next significant event of that life time)
T : At the count of 3-2-1, please go to the last moment of this lifetime.
C : I see a deadbody covered in white cloth and a rope tied around the body. May be its my body.
T : From where do you see the body.
C : I am seeing from the side along with many other persons. But I can move freely anywhere without any effort.
T : What else do you perceive.
C : People are sad. I see Dhanraj. He is also sad. A river is flowing nearby, It is my body. But I cannot understand why they have tied up my body with a rope. But I am wearing the same Ghagra Choli and I am now seeing from the top (above the scene)
T : Try to float away from the scene. What is it that this life time teaches you.
C : Nothing. I was happy. Led a happy life. No regrets.
T : You may look up towards the sky. Do you see anything. Is anything attracting you ( I understand that this is a leading question but wanted to have something for the client from the session)
C : I can see clouds and yellow lights. They are not blinking. I am attracted towards a yellow light. I am attracted towards it.
T : Please go towards the light.
C : I don’t want to go towards the light. I want to go down and see. (Understanding that it is the client’s session) I reluctantly tell the client to go down and see.
(After about few minutes, the client says she is finished observing and now wants to go upwards)
T : Now go upwards towards the yellow light that was attracting you.
C : The yellow light is not there anymore. Only clouds
(After spending few moments in the cloud, the client was taken to another life time)
T: What do you perceive
C : I am in the same lifetime as that of Sapna.
I am moving around the room. It’s a courtyard where my body is kept. Its not a room
T : Please move out of the house and see if you can see anybody, see the language in which the nearby houses are numbered or see the shop names written in which language.
C : I can see a person dressed in khaki and wearing a cap. Most probably a postman. He is dark complexion, has a moustache and wears spectacles.
T : What is his name
C : Don’t know.
T : See the shops around
C: They are closed. They don’t function anymore.
T : Do you see any people from village around.
C : Yes, they are very far off (She doesn’t want to go much far to see if she can identify with anybody)
The Client wanted to emerge and not go to any further past life.
Client was emerged as per the protocol.
End of Day 1
Day 2
(It was felt that the client initially had suggested the right pain level – For Architecture and Traumatic Relationship with mother. The pain level got reduced during the reframing itself – for traumatic relationship with mother. The pain level for Architecture was evident that in both the past lives, the client could detail the architecture, design, MOC, colour of the structure she is seeing and not able to see any other person and still happy for everything. While narrating the architecture of the place and building, her tonal quality was very different - confident, excited, inquisitive, detailed…Hence for Day 2, the theme was changed to Interest in History & Architecture.
After day 1, client googled about Dhanraj as she felt very connected to him.)
Day 2, Session 3
We started the induction with Dave Elman, followed by Progressive Relaxation and Ball of light followed by going down the stairs to the river front. She was not comfortable in the garden. She could find a safe place besides a water fountain. From there we went to the specific life time of Dhanraj.
T : At the count of 3-2-1, you may go back to the lifetime of Dhanraj in the old haveli.
3-2-1.
What do you perceive around you.
C : I am in the same area where we have our meals. (she described in detail about what she was wearing which is exactly the same that she described in session 2. She also described in detail the seating arrangements of the chowkis (rectangular shaped stool having height of 6 -8 inches on which the food thali is kept while the person sits on the floor on an asana, this is still prevalent in traditional Rajasthani, Bengali and south Indian traditional homes).
(Tried to anchor her in that event by asking various questions but other than details of the haveli and the clothes she was wearing, she couldn’t see anybody nor could understand anything else. She was happy, affluent but alone. But this loneliness was not giving way to any sadness)
T : At the count of 3 to 1, you may go to the next significant event of this life time.
(again she went few years ahead and was roaming in the haveli wearing another colourful ghagra choli. Spent about 40 minutes in this lifetime but couldn’t get into anything additional)
T : At the count of 3 to1, you may go to another lifetime from where you developed your interest in history and archeology. 3-2-1. What do you perceive
C : Iam walking on road. I am a girl. Age about 40-45yrs. Wearing ghagra choli.
T : Who else do you see?
C : I am alone. No one is there on the road.
T : Whats your name. What do people call you.
C : After a while (she Cannot say anything…)
T : You may walk outside the house. You may find some neighbours
C : Yes. There are houses ….(after a while) but they are all closed. Nobody is outside.
T : You may go towards the village market.
C : (After a while) I am in the market.
T : What do you see. What type of vehicles do you see in the market.
C : It is a small market. Everybody is walking. No vehicles.
T : You may go to a shop in the market.
C : I am in the shop.
T : Do you recognize the shopkeeper.
C : I often come to this shop. But today there is a woman whom I don’t know.
T : Can you buy something.
C : Yes, Im buying some clothes.
T : Very Good. What currency you are using.
C : I am using some coins (not gold but like gold) and some paper currency (She is not able to read or see exactly what is written on the coins or paper currency)
T : Why don’t you ask where are the shop owners
C : I cannot speak.
T : Then how did you buy the clothes.
C : I just conveyed and she understood.
T : Did she say anything
C : I also cannot hear.
(The first thought that crossed my mind was whether my client was deaf and dumb in that lifetime, but I was very sure it was not the case.)
T : You may go further in the market and buy something else
(later she told she bought bangles from a road side vendor and this time too she was not able to converse through any language)
: Do you perceive that you have speaking and hearing problem.
C : I can talk and hear everything. But when I try to talk to people I cannot do.
T : You may move ahead in the market and try to find the village temple.
(The client navigates the market ahead and enters a small lane confined both sides by dense shrubs which opens up into a big space and inside a dimly lit house)
C : I have come inside the temple. Its very dark. From the top little bit of sunlight is coming. It seems to me a Kali temple.
T : Is anybody there in the temple.
C : No
T : Is it a deserted temple.
C : No. Fresh flowers are there. It seems Puja was done in the morning. Now it is afternoon.
T : Do you see anything else in the temple.
C : Yes. Some prayer books like Hanuman Chalisa.
T : Please pick one up and see which language it is written in.
C : It seems like Sanskrit. Lots of Swastika are printed on the cover page.
: The idol is sculptured on the wall of the mandir
: It is Durga Maa
(I ask her to stay in the temple till evening aarti is started)
: Panditji has come. He nods at me.
T : Do you know him.
C : Yes. He also know me. I am well known as I come here often and it’s a small village.
: A young girl wearing red saree and blouse has also come. She smiles at me. She has long hair.
T : Do you know her.
C : (After few moments) she is my daughter. She is standing besides me.
T : Can you recognize her as anyone from your present life.
C : No
T : Is your daughter married
C : No
T : She stays in the same village?
C : She stays with me in our house
Then Client says that she is able to see her deceased father coming and going near the entrance of the temple. At the same time the evening aarti in the temple started along with all the sweet sound of conch and bells.
T : You may like to go towards your father, seek his blessings and ask all your queries. Please convey my regards to him
C : The following is the gist of the conversation that client had with his father and conveyed to me intermittently during the evening aarti in the temple
( I ) Regarding Mother’s bias towards her brother, her father shrugged his shoulder and implied that he doesn’t know why but also conveyed that she also loves them (client and her sister) very much.
( ii ) Her father expressed dismay the way her mother was conducting herself after he passed way ( Her mother is now very lonely types and is not the erstwhile confident lady)
( iii ) Regarding client’s son’s type A diabetes, he told that these are all small small things in life. These are part and parcel of life which shouldn’t be cause of much worry.
( iv ) Regarding why she is not able to see anybody in PLRT and also talk to anybody in PLRT – His father informed – This is not child’s play. More practice is needed (This was for me!)
( v ) Regarding who this lady in red saree, whom the client had seen as her daughter – He told you will come to know in days to come
( vi ) He informed that he will be there to guide her in this life time and is always with her.
( vii ) My client requested his father to bless me and he smiled and blessed me with both hands (So much gratitude to him and to my client) While going back into his realm, he told my client that he (that is me) had sent him two crates of beer!!! (I then remembered that when I was working with a beverage company, I had sent him two crates of beer, about 15-16yrs back)
T : What do you perceive now.
C : The aarti is still going on. Papa has gone.
T : Please wait till the evening aarti is over.
(daughter and client goes back home)
T : Please go to the dinner time where the entire family has dinner together.
C : My daughter and my husband is having dinner. I am serving them.
T : How do you perceive the atmosphere (She couldn’t recognize her husband)
C : Atmosphere is good. All are happy. I am very happy serving them food.
(Nothing much could be ascertained after dinner. Took my client to the next significant event of this life time. Nothing significant. Took her to the moment just before her death)
T : What do you perceive
C : I see my body lying there on a cot (she has already died). My daughter and my husband and few others are also standing nearby. It is evening time. Not many people. They are sad. Im around 60-65yrs old.
T : At the count of 1 from 3 to 1, you may go to the next morning from now. What do you perceive.
C : Now more people are there. More people are coming as villagers receive the news that I have died. People are readying to do my last rites.
T : What do you perceive as the learning from this life. What are your feeling at this moment.
C : (After few moments of contemplating…) In this life I was a loner but I was not sad. Nor very happy.
T : Anything else…Any regrets….
C : No
T : What do you carry from this life to this present life time
C : Being a loner…
T : Would you like to change anything in this life….
C : Yes….I have a loving family…my husband, my children….I need to appreciate them more….
T : (after giving few moments to contemplate on this and when she was ready to go back to the fountain, she was taken to the fountain on river front to rest….
She was then given an option to emerge or go to another life time.
She preferred to go to another life time)
T : At the count of 1 from 3-2-1, you may go to that life time where you could speak freely and interact with people with ease……3-2-1
T : What do you perceive
C : I am a girl. About 15-16 yrs of age. Wearing school uniform. I see a library. Im inside library.
T : Who else is with you.
C : There are many other students.
T : Do you know them
C : No. They are from other class and division.
T : What is your name?
C : I am Nidhi.
T : Nidhi, where are your other classmates.
C : (Nidhi comes out of the library and goes to the ground where her classmates are playing. She speaks to a class mate named Yogesh.)
My class mates are playing. They say that you go and read in the library and let us play. They will call me when they go to the classroom.
T : At the count of 1 from 3-2-1, you may go forward on that day, after the school is over.
C : I am going home in autorickshaw. I get down in front of a gate and climb the stairs. The stairs are narrow and winding. I climb to second floor. A middle aged lady opens the door and lets me in.
T : Do you know the lady.
C : She seems very familiar. She seems to be my massi in this life time.
T : At the count of 1 from 3-2-1, you may go to the dinner time of this day. 3-2-1. What do you perceive.
C : I am having dinner alone. It is rice, dal, some vegetables.
T : After dinner what happens. Please move around the house.
C : (She describes the house in detail. She goes to a room where her mother was folding some clothes. She smiled and asked whether she has eaten. Then she says it was afternoon lunch and not dinner. Hence no one else was at the dining table)
(She was asked to move on for that day)
C : I see myself lying face down with hairs spread over the pillow. Its my room. Im motionless. May be sleeping.
T : Wait till morning. See what happens
C : Im still sleeping. My mom is crying.
T : From where are you seeing yourself.
C : From the ceiling
T : What happened. What do you perceive.
C : A big spider comes to my consciousness and then vanishes. A big spider has bitten me and I die.
T : You may move on by another 2 hrs and see what do you perceive.
C : My body has been taken to the crematorium. Its very congested. There are many buildings.
T : What do you perceive as a learning from this life.
C : Nothing. Life was too short.
T : Do you have any regrets in this life time
C : No
T : Do you want to explore another life time.
C : I would like to emerge
(The Client was emerged according to protocol and learnings from various past life was integrated into this life time)
After emerging the client was very satisfied that she could speak to her father and get clarification on various aspect of her life.
She could understand why she likes to spend time alone inspite of having a loving family and friends.
She was made aware that being alone inspite of having loving and affectionate relationships with her family is a pattern that is being carried forward since past many lives. Now having realized and understanding that this energy is a pattern, it needs to be broken.
