History Taking:
Coming from a well-to-do family NP was raised in a multicultural environment having studied in The British School, New Delhi, a school that nurtures a multicultural and multilingual community of students and teachers. TBS is an old school once founded by the British High Commissioner and his wife and has students from all over the world. A school, not everyone can afford! Why I’m mentioning this school because, the diverse environment should have made NP more liberal in his outlook as both his parents worked and traveled abroad all the time, having friends from numerous countries and various communities should have made him very broadminded in his approach, unlike what he is! And that is his real worry.
He being the only child had all and more than whatever he always wanted. From childhood, he traveled abroad for holidays and he says he has by now visited most of the countries on the globe and is looking to settle down with a homely Indian girl. (Have you had girlfriends I asked him, if yes why isn’t he interested in marrying her?) To which he replied, although I’ve studied and met girls from all over the world, I’ve never really been romantically attracted to them. I did have a serious affair (with a girl have my parents wanted me to marry) but she was too ambitious and was seeing two more boys apart from me. When I confronted her, she casually said you are the one I’m serious about they are just casual flings!
(To be candid I was shocked and taken aback by the audacity of this gal but I remained composed).
He said I want a simple and compatible married life unlike his parents who hardly get along with each other and I’ve seen them fighting all their life. I’ve never seen them sit together for five minutes without arguing. I’m closest to my Nani Maa, who loves me a lot and understands my feelings well. My parents are only after my life, bitching about each other and I have to solve their issues as if I were their parents and they my children. I’d rather stay unmarried all my life than have such a hell of a life like theirs. That’s why I refused to marry that girl.
NP now stays away from his parents, in Gurgaon where he’s working, and has recently purchased his own flat in one of the poshest societies. He’s perplexed because of his intense hatred for a particular community although he has friends and colleagues from that community. When he meets them he’s okay with it but when he thinks about them he feels awfully odious.
Why, was his query from me I said let’s find out……
After history taking, the PLRT process was discussed and he agreed to proceed. I also assured oath of confidentiality to him.
(Stage 1-9 Completed)
Session 2
We started with Dave Elman and then Progressive Relaxation, Paradise of Peace – The Garden, Happy Childhood Memory, In-utero, and LBL.
Happy Childhood Memory:
(Smile on his face)
C: When I was selected for IAYP (what’s IAYP, I asked) International Award for Young People. The qualifying standard for this is measured in terms of sustained efforts, progress, and overall growth and development, one has to be proficient in everything to be selected for the same. It’s also called the Duke of Edinburgh International Award but here we used to call it IAYP.
T: That’s wonderful. So, it made you and your parents so proud…
C: Just me, my parents were busier showing it off in front of their friends
T: Just enjoy this cherished moment
We subtly moved to in utero but he could see nothing except darkness
LBL: Could see nothing, but said feeling peaceful.
(Stage 10 & 11 Completed)
Session 3
Dave Elman-Progressive Relaxation- Garden- Cliff-Big Box n Small Box- Tunnel of Light- Affect Bridge
Past Life 1
(Suddenly I felt dumb and despite trying a lot I was just unable to speak a word… I kept trying to speak but I just couldn’t and NP started getting restless too! I took a few sips of water, recollected myself, and tried speaking again, luckily I could)
T: It’s okay, you may take your time and tell me what you see
(Client too is silent, not uttering a word)
T: Look at your feet, are you wearing anything
C: Old-style leather saddle
T: Are you a boy or a girl
C: I’m a girl
T: How old are you
C: 25YO
T: What is your name?
(Pause)
C: I don’t know, I can’t find my name
T: It’s alright. What else do you see around you
C: The place is dry and sandy
T: Which place is this, can you figure out
C: This place resembles a small town. There are few locals near a stall, there are tent houses. I also see a castle-like thing, a tall mansion very far behind
T: Do you know the place
C: Yes, Kemet
(I later found that this was the old name for Egypt)
T: Is there anybody with you?
C: Nobody, I’m standing in the middle of nowhere
T: Is there nothing around you
C: I see a mud and brick house at a short distance
T: Is that the place you stay
C: Yes
T: Please go near this house
C: This is a very old-style house made of mud, wood, and bricks. There are cattle, cows, and horses behind the house
T: Is there anyone in there apart from you
C: Yes, there’s an old woman, cooking something on a stove made of stone. She’s my Grand-mom
T: Please go to this woman and ask your name
C: I’m unable to speak, although I’m trying… She’s talking to me in sign language. I think I’m dumb. I cannot speak
(That’s when it struck my mind that when he was about to see this life, I was dumb for almost a minute and couldn’t speak a word despite trying a lot and how I become so restless in that situation)
T: Does this life have any significance to your present life concern
C: I don’t think so
T: Then why are you here
(Long Pause)
C: Because my parents left me and refused to take care of me as I was dumb. It’s my grandmother who understands me and takes care of me. Also, although I’m very beautiful, I could not get married as I cannot speak.
T: Let us move ahead to the last day of your life.
(Pause)
T: What do you see
C: I die of some disease at a young age
T: How old are you
C: About 29 or 30 YO
T: Is there anyone around you
C: My grandmother and a few others. My parents are not here
T: Leave your body and float above
C: I had a peaceful death. My grandmother is crying a lot. I feel bad for her
(Pause)
T: Look above, do you see anything
C: No… Yes, a sun-like light attracts me towards itself.
T: Does it have any message for you
C: I’m unable to gather
T: As you look back, what do you feel is the learning from this life that you can take away
C: That, if my parents were with me, my life would have been so much more beautiful. But, Nature is there to take care of everyone. In this life, it came to me in the form of my grandmother.
T: That’s a wonderful learning.
Past Life 2
T: As you have understood the purpose of this very significant life of yours let us move to a life wherein the root cause of your present-day issue originated from… stay focused and step onto this beautiful bridge.
[Pause]
T: Keep walking on the bridge
C: Yes, I’m walking on the bridge
T: Wonderful, keep walking, your focus is on the root cause of your present-day issue. In a moment you will reach the end of the bridge.
T: As you reach the other side of the bridge, your subconscious mind will show you the past life that holds the root cause of your present-day concern. Stay focused, relaxed, and deeply absorbed…. Now tell me what is coming to your awareness.
C: I see a lot of Sikhs, public gathering
T: How do you know that it’s a Sikh gathering? What are you wearing?
C: I’m wearing a white kurta pajama and slippers. All of us are wearing an orange turban.
T: How old are you
C: I’m around 27-28 YO. It is a royal Sikh gathering
T: Do you know anyone from this life? Look into the eyes and see if you know anyone
(Pause)
C: No, I do not know any one of them
T: Why have you all gathered here
C: All of us are very unhappy, it isn’t a happy occasion
T: Why do you say that
C: There’s an angry and cruel-looking man in front of me. Sitting on an uplifted platform, wearing a royal attire of red and gold. He has bodyguards all around him. We Sikhs are feeling very oppressed and unhappy for some reason or the other.
T: What else comes to your vision
C: Nothing, we are all unhappy and have all gathered for reasons not known to me
T: Move to another significant event in this life
C: I’m at my house, waiting for food (He’s a big foodie BTW). My mother is middle-aged, cooking food in an old-school-style fireplace.
T: Who else is there with you
C: Me and my 2-3 brothers
T: What are you doing now
C: My mother is serving food to all of us. The food is tasty but somehow none of us are happy
T: Why are you all unhappy
C: I’m unable to figure out
T: Let’s move to the incident that has made you all so gloomy
(Pause)
C: A lot of Sikhs are being persecuted and killed for refusing to convert to another religion
T: Is this the reason for all of you to be unhappy
C: Yes
T: Which year is this, do you know the year
C: I’m not too sure, maybe 1710
T: What is your name
C: I do not know my name
T: Can you ask someone your name
C: No one is talking, everyone is grieving.
(Pause)
C: I’m in a cremation place, my whole family was killed in front of my eyes
T: Why did they kill all of your people
C: For refusing to obey the Emperor’s orders and for opposing the persecution of Sikhs. They were all brutally tortured and killed. I want justice for my people. I hate them for their brutality and cruelty.
(I let him pour out his heart)
C: I feel they are worse than animals. There is a deep sense of revenge and rage in me because of the injustice done to us. I’m part of the Sikhs who have militarised themselves to fight and oppose Mughal hegemony.
(Very long pause)
T: What comes to your view now
C: I have been given a death sentence…… my pledge to kill the emperor will remain unresolved. I do not fear death but I want to kill him before I die but that will remain unresolved, now that they have put me in prison.
T: How old are you now
C: In my mid-40s
T: Go to the last day of your life, how did you die
C: By hanging or head-chopping, I’m unable to see clearly
T: Breathing into your last moments… what comes to your awareness?
C: Mass killing, people grieving, pain, unrest amongst Sikhs, and rejoicing amongst another community for their massacre
T: That’s painful…… Look above, do you see anything
C: A bright light above me, showering love and peace upon me
T: Is there anything that it is trying to communicate to you
(Pause)
C: I stood for truth and justice. Things will change and the sacrifice of so many will not go in vain. Good always wins over evil, it might take time but it will happen
T: Now, go back to this life, to the time when your community, your family, and you were killed
C: I’m at the time when my father with all others was killed
T: Release the pain, wherever you are holding it. Just release yourself from all the pain. Do not hold back anything. Release everything as things are bound to change in due course of time
C: I’m feeling much relieved and relaxed
T: Are there any more lives involved in resolving this challenge that you are facing in this life
C: I don’t think so
T: Thank the Masters and the universe for helping to resolve your issue. It is time for you to come back to the present day in your life as NP
(I used affect bridge and garden to bring him back to his consciousness and brought him back to an awakened state)
Client’s reaction after the session
It is surprising how our past lives play such a significant role in our subsequent lives. Thank you for solving the riddle of my life. I hope I’ll be able to overcome this issue now that I know the root cause.
Post-session pain level was 2
Recommendations: Following the forgiveness technique can be very helpful to you. Please go through the reports that I will send you.
