During a PLRT session, my client wanted to know if his current wife is his soul mate. However, in the regression, he saw himself marrying another woman in a past life and feeling happy, while his present wife appeared in the crowd, also celebrating. How should this be interpreted in terms of soul connections and karmic relationships?

Soulmates need not be just lovers or husband -wife. We tend to born in soul groups. Even close friends/siblings/some close relatives maybe Soulmates. Soulmates and twinflames are two separate things…

@hc2101 His soul contract with the wife from that past life may have been completed, which is why she isn’t part of his current incarnation. The present-life marriage likely represents a new or continuing karmic bond, where both souls are completing mutual lessons as karmic soulmates in this lifetime.

@hc2101 As mentioned by Ayush,soulmate doesnt mean just romantic partners.It is also said that there can be multiple soulmates in a single lifetime supporting at a phase in life,as and when need be.

Yes! Soul mate doesn’t have to be husband-wife or romantically linked. It could be a friend, parent or even children. People you connect with and your vibe just clicks with em and they just get you/understand you in a way no one can

This is actually a very beautiful regression insight, not a contradiction.
In my experience so far Soul connections are rarely linear or exclusive, in fact they are more like a soul circle, not a single soulmate contract.
The past-life happiness with another partner suggests a fulfilled karmic chapter, while the presence of the current wife in that scene indicates an ongoing soul familiarity that simply took a different relational role in that lifetime.
Sometimes souls meet as lovers, sometimes as witnesses, sometimes as catalysts. So instead of
“Is she my soulmate?”
the deeper takeaway could be
“What unfinished emotional or spiritual lesson brought us together now?”
In PLRT, it’s often more healing to shift focus from labels to purpose.
Soul bonds are about evolution, not exclusivity.
