Very valid Muralidhar, Murakami’s books all delve on the deeper senses rather than the literal . And this quote is right up our alley as to why some have those horrific memories and don’t want to let go of them . Clinging onto moments that have negative emotions/moments rather than the happier positive ones are a human thing, I feel. As they say being a good human is like being a goalkeeper, no matter how many goals are scored people will only remember the ones that were missed !!
