History

Avantika is a housewife with a loving husband and two children. She cooks very well and love to serve people with her mouth relishing dishes. She was born in a middle class family. She got married in her early twenties just after her graduation. She was well treated by her in-laws and both of them passed away recently. Her husband is a doctor and earns well. Both children are married and settled. Her husband takes care of the family very well and they don’t have any financial issues. Both Avantika and her husband likes socializing and they have a large number of friends also. Both of them are pure devotees of Lord Krishna and every month they visit Guruvayur Temple. Overall Avantika has a very good family life with enough love, care and financial background. But she feels insecure within and she cannot even disclose it even to her husband. Her husband has a childhood friend Renuka who is very close to Avantika’s family. She also lives close by their house with her family. Both families are very well connected and they celebrate festivals together and travel together. Their children also are close to each other. Avantika recently started developing some insecurities with her husband and Renuka. Beneath her heart she knows they are good friends and there is no other relationship in between them. But Avantika feels a kind of insecurity whenever she saw them together or talking to each other. She even has panic attacks. She has Insomnia and has even developed an aversion to intimacy with her husband. Her husband takes her to gynecologist thinking these are the symptoms of menopause. Avantika wants to overcome this feeling of insecurity as she does not want to spoil her family as well as the good relationship with the other family. There is no one for her to share this as both her parents and in-laws are no more. She does not want to share this with other friends as they are known to both family.

SE 1

T: As your body and mind is in deep relaxation, your mind can remember everything even from your early childhood. As I count from 3 to 1 allow your mind to remember a childhood memory from where your fear of being replaced arises?

3…2…1

C: We are having food, Papa, Amma, Me and Geetha

T: How old is you?

C: Eight.

T: Can you tell me who is Geetha? (As Avantika is the only child of her parents)

C: She is the girl from next door. We are in the same class, friends. Papa is appreciating her. He tells Amma to give her a box of sweets as gift.

T: As you notice your father appreciating Geetha what do you notice inside yourself?

C: I want him to notice me.

T: At this moment what are you feeling?

C: I feel I am not enough. She is better than me.

T: Where in your body are you feeling this emotion and what it is like?

C: A disturbing feeling in stomach and my heart is pumping fast.

T: I understand your feelings as an eight year old girl feeling insecure while seeing her father appreciating another girl of the same age in front of you. Let us come back to this scene later and see how we can cheer up this little you.

Now as I count from 3 to 1 you may move on to another significant event in this life from where this same feeling arises?

3…2…1

SE 2

T: Now, keeping your attention gently on the same emotional theme, ask yourself: Was there another time in my life when I felt this same emotion?

Don’t search for any memories. Allow whatever comes naturally.

C: I am in my room, sad, crying.

T: How old are you?

C: Around seventeen.

T: As you are in your room can you identify the reason for your sadness?

C: I found out Arun is with Deepa.

T: Can you let me know who is Arun and what feelings do you have for him?

C: He is from my college. I liked him. But he is in love with another girl, Deepa.

T: I understand your feelings. When you see Arun and Deepa together how do you feel?

C: I feel I am not enough. She is smarter than me.

T: Where do you feel that emotion in your body now?

C: Again in my stomach and heart.

T: Can you notice the similarity between this sensation and what you felt earlier.

C: It’s the same feeling.

T: Can you relate this feeling to any current situation in your life?

C: I feel the same way when I see my husband and Renuka talking to each other.

Somatic Bridge

T: As I count from 3 to 1 you may allow this feeling to take the form of a bridge

Presence of bridge confirmed through IMR

T: As I count from 3 to 1 you start walking through the bridge. We can explore your past lives at the other end of the bridge.

3 Slowly start walking through the bridge

2 halfway

1 now you are at the other end of the bridge

Confirmed through IMR

PL 1

T: As you are at the other end of the bridge what are you aware of?

C: I see fog around me. Nothing else.

T: You may wait for some time to get the fog cleared. As you wait there ask yourself “when have I felt this same feeling before?”

T: Don’t force an answer. Allow the first image, place, person, sensation or feeling to arise naturally.

Engram

T: What are you aware of now?

(5-6 minutes of silence)

C: I am ill. (I of IDT) I can’t move. Need water. (At this point the client really asked for water and after bookmarking the event the client was awakened and took a short break. After the break with a short induction itself the client went to trance and continued the session from the last scene)

T: If you are feeling any discomfort you can float above and observe the seen.

C: My sound is so feeble. It barely comes out. I am dying out of hunger and thirst. (D of IDT) I am alone. Nobody comes for help.

T: I understand your pain. You may float above and observe. What was the last thought in your mind during your last moments?

C: I lived alone and died alone. I was not good enough.

T: I am aware of your feelings. As I count from 3 to 1 you may let your mind to go back to some significant earlier event in this life.

3…2…1

KMF to CF

C: I am running away, crying. (Abreactions and SMT)

T: I understand you are in some pain. As you are crying, allow your mind to let me know what made cry and run away?

C: They got married. I feel rejected.

T: I understand your pain. Can you find out from where you are running away?

C: No, It is dark. I am running through a path in the forest.

As I count from 3 to 1 let your mind move backward to another earlier significant event in this life.

3…2…1

(After 2-3 minutes silence)

C: I see them. They are meeting in the garden.

T: Are you aware of their names?

C: Amaravati and Durgadasan

T: As you see them can you tell me something more about them?

C: She also serves the queen with me. We are very close. He looks after the horses. (Silence)

She cheated me! (Tears roll down and SMT)

T: I understand your pain. You may let me know what happened in between you two.

C: I love him. She knows that. (Abreactions and SMT)

T: I understand you feel pain when you see them together. Take your time to deal with the pain and let me know whether he knows about your love for him?

C: I don’t know, I didn’t tell him. (Crying)

T: Look at them and feel their energy. Do they feel familiar in your current life?

C: He is my husband. Her face is partially covered. Wait its Renuka. (Abreactions and SMT)

T: I am aware of what you are going through now. You may let me know what emotions you feel now.

C: I am sad. I am not good enough. He chose her. I feel rejected. (Abreactions and SMT)

T: I understand that you are feeling sad. You may allow yourself to become aware of what others call you?

C: They call me Pushpavalli

T: Can you tell me which year it is?

C: I don’t know.

T: I understand your pain. As I count from 3 to 1 you may move on to the last times of Pushpavalli’s lifetime.

3…2…1

T: What are you aware of now?

C: I am old. Sitting in front of my hut.

T: As you are sitting in front of your hut you may explore whether there is someone around?

C: No, I am alone.

As I count from 3 to 1 you may move to the dinner time at your house

3…2…1

T: Explore around you and let me know what are you aware of?

C: I am inside my hut. Dim light.

T: As it is dim light use your senses and find out if there is someone with you?

C: No, I live alone.

As I count from 3 to 1 you may again move your awareness to Pushpavalli’s last moments

3…2…1

T: What are you aware of now?

C: I see Yamaraj coming on a fierce buffalo with rope in his hand. The buffalo has red eyes and curved, long horns. He ties me with the rope and takes towards the sky.

(Then the client became silent for some time. Not answered any of my questions. At first I doubted whether she is asleep. I decided to wait. After 5-6 minutes she responded)

C: I am in Brindavan now. My Krishna is there with Radha. There are gopikas around them. They are teasing him.

T: You may ask for his blessings and ask if there is any message for you?

C: I don’t want to interrupt his Leelas.

T: As you don’t want to interrupt him you may wait there as far as you want.

(The client again went to silence. This time her face was glowing with divine grace and I could notice she was in total Ananda. After sometime her eyes started moving rapidly)

C: He is coming to me. Takes my hand in his. He says I am good enough. I should not judge myself. I shall not fear to express my love.

PHS

Whenever you feel any insecurity in your life and feel like comparing yourself with others you remember the words of Krishna that you are good enough and you should not judge yourself. Instead you have to express your love for others.

CO

T: I can relate your divine pleasure. As you experience this divine pleasure let me know what are you carrying over to your current life from Pushpavalli’s life?

C: I should not judge people. I need to tell my husband that I love him more than anything. I should trust his love for me. I should respect their friendship.

T: Do you want to explore anything more about Pushpavalli’s life or any other past life of yours

C: No

T: As I count from 3 to 1 you will reach near the bridge through which you entered your past life

3…2…1

(IMR)

T: As I count from 3 to 1 you will come back to your current life through the bridge

3 start walking

2 halfway

1 you are back

(IMR)

Inner Child Healing

T: Now as I count from 3 to 1 you may just go and meet the 8 year old Avantika and ask her what she wanted to tell her father?

C: Papa, look at me too. I am here.

T: What happens then?

C: Papa comes near me and hugs me. He tells me “you are always my princess”.

T: How do you feel now?

C: I am so happy (Smiling)

PHS

You may remember the way your father protected you and loved you and feel that protection and love whenever you are in need.

Resolution and Integration

T: Again as I count from 3 to 1 you may go and meet the 17 year old Avantika. What understanding does she have now?

C: He didn’t know I liked him. I never told him. It is not his fault.

T: Anything more?

C: I should not compare myself with others. Everyone has their own worth.

T: How do you relate this with your current insecurity?

C: My husband loves me. I should trust his love for me.

T: Now think of your husband and Renuka talking to each other and observe the feeling in your stomach and Heart? What do you feel?

C: It’s gone, I feel light, happy.

The client was brought back to Garden and awakened following standard procedures.

Wow!!

@sreelethagpillai Sreeletha, you did amazing. While reading, I was kinda disappointed when you let go of a few opportunities to explore further during childhood/teenage and in PL where she saw her crush and friend together, but being a smart cookie you attempted and nailed inner child healing to strengthen and boost her confidence and self healing. Finale holds the magic :cherry_blossom::cherry_blossom: I really loved that smart trick. That was a perfect twist at the end. You are already a pro in paraphrasing and being empathetic so it shows in the case report. I love how gently and carefully you navigated and brought comfort to your client. Such a beautiful and effective approach :heart: Loved it! Keep rocking and more power to you for using your native language :clap::cherry_blossom::cherry_blossom:
