Warrior’s Memories: Facing Fire, Fear, and Redemption Across Lifetimes

Name : Priya (Name changed) 32/F

VAK : 3/4/8 (Dominant sense: Kinesthetic)

Hypnotic score : 3

Eye Roll : 2

Session 1:

Duration: 3 hours

Stages 1 to 9 are followed thoroughly.

History Taking

Priya comes from a middle-class family and is now married, living in Bangalore with her husband, Prem(Name changed), and their two-year-old daughter, Shiva(Name changed). She had a love marriage and described their life as happy. However, Priya’s journey to this point has not been easy.

In her childhood, Priya’s mother was often ignorant of her needs while being more caring toward her siblings. Priya continually felt ignored and neglected, receiving secondhand things compared to her brother and sister. There was clear favoritism toward her siblings, and most of the household chores were assigned to Priya, even though she was the youngest.

Priya also faced emotional struggles outside her family. She lost many friends throughout her life, leaving her feeling hurt and alone. Her health was never optimal, as she frequently fell sick. This led her family to doubt her abilities, further manifesting in their behavior, which eroded her confidence. She experienced more restrictions compared to her siblings, exacerbating her feelings of inequality.

Some of her experiences with family members were deeply traumatic. She suspects that her uncle touched her inappropriately during childhood, though she is not entirely sure. Her sister’s husband (BIL) took advantage of her by blackmailing her, threatening to divorce her sister if Priya didn’t comply. This caused a bitter rift between Priya and her sister. A boy from her community rescued her from her BIL by entering into a relationship with her, but he, too, took advantage of her trust.

Priya often has recurring dreams of failing in interviews and exams, a reflection of her lifelong feelings of inadequacy. She was deeply attached to her father, and his passing during COVID was an unbearable pain for her, plunging her into depression. After marrying her first love and having a beautiful daughter, Priya experienced postpartum depression, which was extremely challenging to overcome. With her husband’s support, she managed to recover to some extent but hasn’t fully healed.

Session 2:

Duration: 2.5 Hours

We began the session with Dave Elman’s induction method, followed by progressive relaxation, the ball of light visualization, and the staircase and garden exercises to deepen the trance. Once in the trance, we proceeded with the tunnel of light.

Happy Memory Exploration

C: I can see Pari (my sister’s daughter) smiling.
T: How does this make you feel?
C: Happy.

C: Pari is playing… she is 2 years old.

(The client’s body continuously showed signs of resistance during this phase.)

Age Regression

C: I’m seeing a memory of the Hampi vacation. My husband Prem and daughter Shiva are playing the damaru (drums).
T: How are you feeling in this memory?
C: I’m happy.

T: Let’s explore another memory.
C: Prem and I went on a vacation to Sinhagad Fort. I can see myself in a red-and-white dress… (the client shared more minor details of this memory).

T: Let’s move to the next significant event in your life. It could be a happy or sad moment. Let it come to your awareness and tell me what you are seeing.

(The client started wincing, followed by crying.)

T: What are you seeing? What is this memory that is making you sad?
C: We got the news of my father’s demise. It was during the covid time. Everyone was crying in different corners of the house.

T: Let all the emotions come out. Don’t hold anything back. (I gave her plenty of time to release her emotions.) You acted very strong during this crisis, standing like a rock for your family. But now, you are safe here, and it’s okay to express all the emotions you’ve suppressed. (Allowed more time for her to cool down.)

T: You can meet your father in this peaceful garden and convey all your feelings to him.
C: I can see my father sitting on a bench.
T: Go near him, hug him, and speak with him.
C: He is not talking to me. I’m not able to go there.
T: No worries. He will talk whenever you are ready. For now, just stay there and enjoy his company.

T: Let’s explore another memory with your father. Let it be a happy one.
C: I’m seeing a memory with my father on Raksha Bandhan in hometown. He is sitting… I feel happy.

T: Let’s explore further memories.
C: I see a memory of my father on a trip to Pune… he’s clicking pictures.
T: That’s wonderful. You had great times with your father during Raksha Bandhan and the trip to Pune. Let me know if another memory comes to your awareness.

C: I’m seeing the memory of Shiva’s birth… when she came onto my bed. (The client started crying again.)
T: This is such an important memory for you. It’s truly special to see your child for the first time. What is making you cry? What are you feeling?
C: I’m feeling hurt (because of the delivery procedure), but I love my baby so much.

T: This must have been a very crucial moment for you. You suppressed your emotions back then, but now you can express everything you’re feeling about this memory. Let it all come out—don’t hold back. (I gave her a few minutes and consoled her thoroughly.)

Post-Session Insights

After the session ended, she told me that during the memory of her child’s birth, she saw a few souls around the bed—at least 20-30 souls were present.

After some time, when she felt calm, she asked for a short break to use the restroom.

Session 3:

Duration: 1.5 Hours

The session followed the Dave Elman induction technique, Progressive Relaxation, Ball of Light, Staircase, Garden, and Tunnel of Light.

T: Imagine a dense fog clearing slowly, and as it clears, some images or scenes will emerge. Whenever you feel or see anything, let me know.

C: I’m seeing something like a womb. Not sure whose fetus this is.

C: My body is spinning… it is continuously spinning.

T: What else are you feeling or seeing?

C: There’s a bright light.

T: Can you cross that light? If you need help, ask for someone to help you cross it.

C: My father held my hand and took me out of it very fast, like zoop.

T: Good. Let me know what’s coming into your awareness now.

C: I can see an angel with a golden wand with a star. She has a crown and is smiling [like the angel in the Sonpari TV serial].

T: What is she doing? Is she talking to you?

C: She’s just standing there and smiling. She’s not talking to me.

T: Imagine a door on your right side. After crossing this door, you will see a past life memory connected to your fear of something happening.

[Past Life 1]

T: Let me know what comes to your awareness.

C: I can see the sky… I can see a tiger’s eyes and the mouth of a lion.

T: You are seeing the sky, a tiger’s eyes, and the mouth of a lion. What else do you see or feel? Look around you.

C: I can see a deer with horns. Someone killed it.

T: Is that deer you or someone else?

C: Not me.

T: Can you see who killed it?

C: The tiger killed the deer.

T: You’re seeing the deer get killed by the tiger. How are you feeling about this? Can you look at yourself and tell me how you look?

C: I feel scared and bad for the deer. I feel like I’m a rat. (Client shows the mouth gesture of a rat.)
(She is confused between a squirrel and a rat, but then she looks at the tail and confirms.)

T: You are in the form of a rat and watching the tiger kill the deer. You can share everything you feel and see.

C: I feel scared that the tiger will kill me.
I’m running away… I feel like someone is following me.

T: Can you see who is following you?

C: Don’t know, but I’m scared.

C: I’m seeing the sky again… and a tree.

T: Hmm… let me know if you feel or see anything else.

C: Now I’m seeing darkness. I feel scared.

T: Don’t worry, there’s no need to be scared. I am with you. Maybe you’re in a closed room, which is why you’re seeing darkness. Find the door and open it.

C: I can see a black door in the room. A little light is coming through a small rift.

T: There’s no need to feel scared. It is just a memory. Someone will come to help you open that door.

C: My father came to help me, and he opened the door.
I can see a star, smiling at me.

T: Where are you now?

C: There’s a round, lightning tunnel here.

T: Can you go there and cross it? Let me know what comes into your awareness after crossing it.

[Past Life 2]

C: There’s an old house, like a king’s palace, far away… and a tunnel of light is behind it.
(The client shifts to a different memory.)

C: I feel a spear in my left hand… it’s near a beachside.

T: Can you tell me what you’re doing and what else is around you?

C: It seems like a war-like situation, and I’m just standing there.

T: Please look down and tell me what you’re wearing.

C: Adimanav-type clothing. There’s water nearby… I am a man.

T: Okay, please tell me what else is coming into your awareness.

C: I can see a rath (chariot) beside me. Water is nearby, and there’s a war-like situation.

T: Describe everything that’s happening there.

C: I’m just standing… I can see a flying yan (like a UFO) in the shape of a bird.

T: How does this yan look?

C: It’s shaped like an eagle.

T: Very good. Go ahead.

C: I feel like a Trishul (Trident) is coming toward me.

T: Oh, what are you feeling about this?

C: I’m scared.

C: There’s a big head of a rakshas.

T: How does the rakshas look? Can you describe it more?

C: There’s only the head of the rakshas visible—it’s been beheaded. Someone is holding it.

T: Hmm… go ahead.

C: There’s fire… big monkeys are throwing the head of the rakshas.

C: In my right hand, I can feel the ढाल (shield).
(The client shows intense abreactions and discomfort.)

T: BRV… If it’s uncomfortable, you can watch it from a distance.

C: I’m feeling the heat in my hands.

T: What happened to your hands?

C: Huge fire came toward me, like a bomb blast.

T: If you feel uncomfortable, observe it from a distance.

C: I’m stopping the fire with my shield.

T: Is the fire burning you?

C: No. Because of the shield, I’m safe. But there’s so much heat, and my hands can feel it.

T: Oh, maybe you’ve carried this heat in your hands from that moment.

C: Yes, that’s right.

T: You don’t have to carry this heat anymore; it’s a memory from the past.

C: Hmm… okay.

T: Let me know what is coming to your awareness now.

C: Everything is blank now… I can see a golden-haired girl.
(The client shows some discomfort; BRV is performed.)

From this point, the client began to see random images and scenes. Efforts to revisit the rat life and soldier life were met with visions of unrelated scenes.

T: Let’s revisit the rat life where you felt scared for your life or the soldier life where you stood in the war field. Let me know what is coming to you.

C: I see a cartoon-like dinosaur with large green legs… a gorilla walking… it’s black.
A polar bear… the Himalayas… Om Parvat.
Mahadev’s pind is zooming in.
A big snake—really big—it’s hissing.
Snow is falling into a rift.
A lady in white, dressed like Parvati Maa.
Ganpati Bappa’s trunk has fallen.
I see a pig’s teeth and face.
It feels like a drop of white is falling into black, and everything is becoming light.
It seems like it’s zooming… I feel scared.
I don’t want to stay here.

T: Come to the garden.

C: I want to meet my father.

T: Rest here for a moment. In a few minutes, your father will come to meet you.

C: He’s standing at a distance. It feels like he’s angry.

T: Go to him, hug him, and tell him how much you miss him and how much you love him.
(The client starts crying loudly; BRV is performed.)

C: He isn’t staying… he left.

T: Don’t worry, you can meet him anytime. He will come back when you need him in future sessions.
(The client shows discomfort; BRV is performed again.)

Since the client was unable to revisit both past lives, we focused on reviewing and integrating these experiences during the session’s conclusion.

Integration and Review

T: Let’s review the rat life. When you saw the tiger killing the deer, you felt scared for your life. That feeling was related to that specific situation. You don’t have to carry that fear into this life. You don’t need to feel scared of everything because today’s circumstances are very different. In your rat form, you didn’t have the power to face a tiger, but today you are much stronger and can face any situation.

C: Yes, you’re right.

T: Now, let’s review the soldier’s life. You were standing in the war field, and a fire came toward you. You stopped it with the shield, but you still felt the heat in your hands. Maybe that’s why you feel sweating and heat in your hands in this life.

C: Yes.

T: You don’t need to carry that heat anymore. It happened in another life. You can release that heat and feel more calm in your hands.

C: Yes, I agree.

T: Do you want to explore further, or would you like to emerge?

C: I want to wake up.

(Emergence script was performed.)

Session 4:

Duration: 2 Hours

The client wasn’t feeling well but insisted on proceeding with the session. We performed the Dave Elman induction, followed by progressive relaxation, the ball of light exercise, staircase visualization, and the garden.

During the session, the client requested a break to use the restroom. Afterward, we repeated the Dave Elman induction and resumed with progressive relaxation, the ball of light, the staircase, the garden, the tunnel of light, and the affect bridge. Despite multiple attempts, the client was unable to see anything further.

The session was closed, and we agreed to schedule another session to address the remaining issues once the client feels better.

Recommendations:

  1. Start doing meditation to clear overthinking patterns from the mind
  2. Start doing yoga to reduce physical issues.

Dear Harie

Very intense sessions. Heartiest Congratulations.
Few queries

  1. Please write the relative dates of sessions (If you dont want to reveal the exact dates, you may write day1, day 2 etc. My take from the sessions, what you have written and the bio break the client was taking - it seems all the sessions were done on the same day and it will be very stressful. If session 4 is on a different day, then client is having high resistance (bio break indicates high resistance to me)
  2. You may take further sessions to close the various themes/pain level that you have indicated.
  3. Most of the themes are inter related and a single theme would have focused on the correct past life.
  4. Some of the pain level especially the hotness on the palm, I feel is the physical pain and not emotional pain.

Now, as far as the process is concerned I genuinely feel you have done a superb job. History taking was very elaborate. Questions were good. Sometimes I felt you were leading the client eg
image
You can suggest, but you cannot guarantee what will happen next.

All the Best Harie.

Best Regards/Deepak

Hi @deepakchaks , thank you so much for the feedback…
Please find my answers to your queries.

  1. All the sessions were done on consecutive days. I will mention the exact dates now onwards.
  2. We have decided to schedule the session for different themes once she felt well.
  3. Can you help me with this if possible, please share a single possible theme as per your experience and knowledge. That will be very much helpful.
  4. The hotness in palm is physical pain hence there was no theme set for it. (The life of soldier came automatically in her consciousness)
  5. I will take care in further to not lead the client.

(The session was done in Marathi, and I translated it in english so few sentence will be here and there)

Thanks for all the suggestion :pray:t2:

I know this was getting too enthralling, but some stress management here would have helped.

not okay… what could you have said here instead?

this is why we need to avoid judgemental statements as well, like “very good…” because we never know what might emerge.

You could have made this realisation, endogenic by asking, “What is it that she’d need to experience to let go of this heat…”

after some stress management or a break you could have started, with, “Shall we revisit… instead of Let’s revisit…”

stress management could have saved us from this abort helped you proceed with the T of IDT.

But all in all you got this Harie, and I’m proud of you.
