Sir, I was going through this case study and stumbled upon these 2 questions. And I humbly request for the answer, if time permits, also if everyone agrees, may be during forum call or whenever you can! Thank you ![]()
In my humble opinion,
Q1. Is there the possibility of therapist influencing the client without his/her awareness
This is what likely to be called as Rescripting during the session. The client may be aware what is being spoken but may or may not have knowledge of what effect it would produce.
Q2. By asking the client to float above the scene, does it make the client to miss any information ?
As the session progresses ; client experiences the sub personality in past life
In essence its the power of soul that is embodied which is experiencing both the lives , having gone beyond the limitations of name and form and time and space.
We use the technique of Floating above the scene so that the client having difficulty id bearing the past life trauma or pain may be move away from the physical body and observe / experience the complete scene from a third person perspective. Floating above makes the experience far bearable also.
In this life we love our bodily form and hence when the body experience a pain or hurt we take it as our experience. In true reality the soul remains unaffected and it only carries it as a far memory.
