When Loss Became Identity

He Didn’t Lose Wealth, He Lost Himself….

Today, He Returned….

.
Some people walk into therapy seeking answers. But some walk in seeking themselves.
Vijay is one of them.
From the outside, his life looked stable a successful 38-year-old businessman, a caring father, a responsible provider, respected by his peers. The kind of man people call sorted, but internally, he was living with a storm that no one could see.
A storm of fear. Not fear of failure… not fear of losing people… but a strange, ancient fear of losing everything without warning.
He is not scared of life. He is scared of collapse. Even in moments of peace, he feels a silent tremor underneath as if one wrong decision, one delay in payment, one fluctuation in profit will snatch away his safety, dignity, and worth. When he said that
he feels like he is constantly protecting something… even though nothing is being taken from him.
This sentence broke my heart a little. Bcoz it wasn’t coming from fear, it was coming from exhaustion.
His dreams mirrored the same panic, empty lockers, torn ledgers, falling from heights, coins slipping through his fingers.
No matter how much he earned, the fear stayed ahead of him… always slightly out of reach, always slightly unresolved.
And yet he is a gentle man. Soft-spoken. Deeply sincere. Aware that his fear is irrational, yet unable to move beyond it.
What he is seeking is not reassurance. He doesn’t want me to tell him that everything will be fine…he wants to know,
Why does his body react as if it remembers a loss he never lived?
This question opened a door not many dare to step through. A door into memory not stored in the brain, but in the soul.
What unfolded in the sessions ahead is not just a story of money or betrayal or collapse. It is a story of a man who had once lost everything, not once, but twice and carried the dying words of those lifetimes into his present heartbeat.
It is the story of a soul that did not lose wealth, it lost itself…
And in this session it finally returned.
This is his journey…a journey of memory, release, healing and a homecoming that transcends lifetimes.

Name : Vijay Sethiya

Age : 38 yrs

Location : Bedford street, NW London

Profession : Buisness

Pre-briefing went well and Vijay was most willing to get into the process of PLR and responded calmly and peacefully with most of the questions asked.

Session 1
Contract and Oath of Confidentiality was signed

Client assessment :-

VAK 6/5/4, Eye Roll 4/5

Pain level 08(before). After 00( felt much relaxed and relieved),

Hypnositability 9/10

Current life history :-

Vijay, a 38-year old male, born and brought up in a financially conservative environment. From early childhood, he lived in an emotional environment where money was discussed with fear, caution, emotional tension and unpredictability
He repeatedly heard
ज़्यादा खर्च मत करो… जो है वही सुरक्षित है…

Money doesn’t stay forever…
Be careful about trusting others…
Family members often compared people who lost money, relatives and friends who invested poorly, families who collapsed due to debts.
This created early imprints like
Money = safety
Loss = shame
Mistake = collapse

Around age 12–14, he began showing early anxiety around losing things stationery, pocket money, even marks. He developed recurring dreams of someone emptying lockers..…gold coins dissolving in water…..falling from a height…. important ledger pages tearing etc.
He started having occasional panic episodes before results, exams and later before salary credit or financial transactions.
He entered the business world with a partner. Initially relationships were smooth, but slowly he began sensing, mistrust, overchecking the accounts, double verifying the payments and scanning communication repeatedly.
Even normal fluctuations created restlessness. He described like
“जब भी कोई बड़ा financial decision आता है, ऐसा लगता है कि कुछ गलत हो जाएगा… अचानक collapse हो जाएगा.”
Emotional triggers like partner disagreement, late payments, low-profit months, staff quitting activated subconscious panic. Sometimes even a small transaction triggered chest tightness, stomach drop sensation, thought loop, inability to sleep.
Yet outwardly he presents as responsible, organized, admired, but inwardly fear of losing everything is constant.
He reported he is tired of constantly protecting something that is not even being taken from him, which intuitively pushed him towards PLR

Recurring anxious dreams of loss, fear of sudden collapse without any real trigger, hypervigilance, responsibility burden, somatic reactions, inherited belief structure
and the Inner command
Protect everything or you will fail your family.”
He repeatedly felt that his fear is older than his life.

Stage 1 to 5 are done.

When Loss Became Identity

Session 2

We began the session with a prayer which Vijay repeated after me to seek the blessings from my guruji

Guruji…
Today we come with open hearts and quiet minds.
आज हम अपना मन, अपनी स्मृतियाँ और अपना सत्य
आपके चरणों में अर्पित करते हैं.

Guide us gently beyond fear,
जहाँ डर है वहाँ प्रकाश भर दीजिए,
जहाँ बोझ है वहाँ करुणा आने दीजिए.

If memories rise, give us strength.
यदि सत्य खुले, तो उसे स्वीकारने का साहस दीजिए.

Let this space be protected,
यह यात्रा सुरक्षित हो, शुद्ध हो, और कृपा से भरी हो.

You walk with us, Guruji,
आप मार्ग दिखाएँ, हम विश्वास रखें.

Whatever is ready to heal today,
उसे शांति के साथ मुक्त होने दीजिए.

We surrender to your grace.
हम स्वयं को आपकी उपस्थिति में सौंपते हैं.

ॐ शांति… शांति… शांति…

Vijay lies comfortably, hands resting, breathing deeply and slowly.

T : Just allow your breath to soften… shoulders loose… eyes resting gently… say I am ready…
C (soft whisper): I am ready…

After, Dave Elman - Progressive relaxation - Ball of light - staircase - Garden …

T : As you walk through this beautiful garden pathway… notice the sunlight… notice the earth beneath your feet… and move towards the glowing door of memories…
With every count from 10 to 1, you’re going back… to the very root of this pain.

10… 9… drifting…

8… 7… deeper…n deeper…

6… 5… 4… going back in time…

3… 2… and… 1…
The door opens…
What do you see?
C : uhh..…dark sky… ships… wooden port… something smells like spice.

T : … excellent… look down at your feet… what are you wearing?
C : Boots… strong leather… my hands are very rough… I am counting coins.

T : are you a man or a woman?…
C : ..a man

T : how old do you feel?
C : …Maybe 35… or 38…
similar to now.

T : What do you do?
C : … buisness…. handle trade…

T : what kind of buisness?
C : …cloth, salt, cinnamon… barrels are loaded… people work under me… I feel respected… I feel proud.

T : घर में कौन कौन है?
C : ( smiles ):
my wife… children…
it’s a small house… lamp जल रहा है.

T : …Notice how this life feels to your heart…
C : Very safe…feeling of belonging… dignity.

T : Is there someone close… in business?
C : voice changes…
Yes, a partner…

T : how do you call him…I mean his name ?

C : .. sounds like Raghvan…
He is laughing loudly… he knows the night trade.

T : Do you trust him?
C : Yes…fully… even more than myself…
(voice lowers)
I shouldn’t have…

T : …now with a count from 5 to 1 … let this time move …move to a significant moment that changed everything…
5…4…3…2…and 1…
What is happening?..
C : ( suddenly breathes fast )
रात है….. मशालें जल रही हैं….. बहुत शोर-गुल है….oh God…

T : …Stay with it…
you are safe here…
Take a deep breath… just describe…what’s happening…
C : Raiders…..they are breaking the door… they have stolen everything… barrels… sacks of money… ledgers…

T : Where is your partner?
C : ( voice trembling)
He is standing with them… laughing…
He planned it…

T : I know it hurts… just let it come…
C : …( silence for a few seconds… tears rolling )….
everything is gone… people look at me with shame… family is hungry…
I feel so humiliated…

T : you are doing good…you are safe here…
take a few slow and deep breaths…
with a count from 3 to 1 you move to the last day of this life…

3…2…and 1…
Where are you?
C : …I feel I am walking on the port… my body is weak… no food…have high fever…

T : Who is near you?
C : …my son… small hands… his eyes are scared…

T : What do you say to him?
C : (crying)
“Protect the money… don’t trust anyone… or everything will vanish.”

T : hmmm…what happens after that ?
C : …I fall… on stones… my head hits… I die…

T : .silence for a few seconds…

Observe..…observe your soul leaving the body…
What is the feeling like…?
C : …there is no pain… no body now…
I am floating… I see everything… but, I can not protect anything…

T : Alright… you are floating above that body… no pain… no suffering…
Just awareness…
tell me what do you see happening below?
C : (breathing slowly)
My wife is crying… she is holding my body from the shoulder…my son is shaking me… he is trying to make me wake up…
He thinks I have fainted…
he doesn’t know I’m gone…
I want to touch him… but I cannot

T: just be there as an observer n notice that feeling…
देखिये… महसूस कीजिये… do not enter the pain.
Now look to your right and left, is there anyone near you in this soul form?
C : (sudden change in tone)
..… someone is here…
very still… almost like light standing upright…a golden-white light…
his eyes are calm… but not like human eyes…

T : Who do you feel he is?
C: … someone who has been with me before…like a father figure…
very silent but reassuring…
He is not pulling me, but inviting…
he is not forcing…. just allowing…

T : Ask him who is he in relation to you?
C : ( quiet for some moments)
He is saying…he protects the passage between lives… he is the one who closes doors.

T : How does he communicate that?
C : Inside my head… no words… it’s like intention.

T : What is he doing now?
C: …he is touching me… not physically… but like a vibration on my back…
everything is fading… people… dock… house… all is dissolving…
everything looks blurry… I am rising…
It’s like traveling without moving…

T: hmm… where are you now?
C: …it’s a white field… no ground… just space…soft sound… I feel the wind inside light…it feels peaceful… no weight… no fear…
I don’t feel responsible for anyone anymore…

T: Do you see anything forming ahead of you?
( here onwards it felt that I went in trance along with my client and was seeing exactly what he was seeing…felt someone else was guiding both of us through my voice…I cud not open my eyes, not even forcefully…it became a flow..)
C: Yeah… a circular opening…..like a doorway without walls…
There is light… shimmering light… dust-like…
I am seeing some shapes… they look like people without bodies…

T : energies?
C: hhmm…

T: …are these familiar to you?
C: ..yes… one of them feels like my mother from that life… but not in body form…
another is someone from this life…
may be my younger brother…..not exactly him but the same soul quality…

T : Is anyone speaking to you?
C: …not in words… just understanding…
the guide is showing me..…
I see my business partner… the betrayer…
he is showing me a different angle…
he is showing me that his betrayal was not sudden…..there were signs…
he was avoiding transparency…..but I don’t want to see…

T: Why ?
Why you do not want to see?
C : … I needed security…I held onto him because he handled things I was scared to handle… I gave him power…..and he used it.

T :…( Very gently…)
What is your guide conveying through this?
C: …..He is saying…
What I avoid handling becomes my vulnerability.
And what I fear managing becomes my dependency.
He is showing that I did not lose money that night… I lost control much earlier…
When I over-trusted to avoid responsibility.

T: …let this truth sink into your soul gently…
Now… look at that version of yourself standing near the boat… weak… frightened…
What do you want to say to him?
C : (after long silence…)
मैं तुम्हें माफ करता हूँ…
It was not your fault…you were scared…
you just wanted to protect your family…
you were not weak… you were overwhelmed…
(Tear rolls down …)

T : Beautiful…
what does the man on the dock say back to you?
C: He is smiling faintly…..n say
Thank you… I can rest now…..
And he fades…

T: What does the guide want you to take forward?
C: He is saying…
“Trust is not blindness.”
“Responsibility is not burden.”
“Partnership is not dependency.”
And…
“Money is movement… not protection.”

T : (soft but affirming )
Say this with me slowly…
“Money moves… life continues.”
C: Money moves… life continues…

T : Say…
“What I lost was not security, it was attachment.”
C : (deep breath)…
What I lost was not security, it was attachment

T : .…place your hand on your heart…n say softly…
“My worth is not tied to wealth.”
C : My worth is not tied to wealth.

T : Say…
जो मेरा है, वो खो नहीं सकता।
C tears rolling:
जो मेरा है, वो खो नहीं सकता…

T : Say…
Fear was from older time…it is not mine anymore.
C : Fear was from older time… it is not mine anymore.

T : now with a count from 5 to 1 you may if you are willing …come back in the awareness of your body or
may drift into another lifetime related to your present day problems …
C : I want to see more…
( Silence…)

T : now…
with a count from 5 to 1 …you may if you are willing…drift into another life time, connected to the same fear.
C : I am willing to see another…

T : …ok…
with a count from 5 to 1 you drift into another lifetime,
5…4…3…2…and 1…
your soul is now entering another life connected to the same fear…
where do you arrive…?
What do you see..??
C : it’s dry land… fields are cracked…
I see a big house… veranda… pillars…

T : Who are you?..
A man or a woman ?
C :… man…. a landowner… people depend on me… they are waiting outside for food…

T : Do you provide them?
C : I can’t… there is no rain…
tax ppl come daily…

T : how do you feel ?
C : I feel the burden on my chest…

T : you are completely safe here…
Take a few deep breaths…
you are doing great…
( Silence for few minutes )
C : …am failing… people are crying…
I see my daughter’s face…it’s thin…..she is hungry…

T : What do you feel?
C : Shame… worthlessness…
I failed them…

T : breathe deeply…
…. move to another significantl moment of this life..…
Where are you?
C : …am climbing grain storehouse ladder… my hands slip… I fall…

T : oh…who is near you?
C : My daughter… she is crying…

T : N what do you say?
C : ( whispers )…
Learn to save… never let money slip away.

T :…before you move further…with a count from 3 to 1..…just allow the time rewind slightly…
3…2…and 1…
कुछ पल और पीछे चलिए…थोड़ा पीछे …
A moment that shows why this collapse affected you so deeply.
Where are you?

C : (voice emotional)
I see many villagers…..they are standing outside my house…waiting for me to distribute grain…but there is no grain left…
Someone is saying
आपने वादा किया था…
I can’t even look into their eyes.

T : How does that make you feel?
C :…Burden…I feel my chest is locked…
they trusted me…but I failed them…

T : Anyone else reacts?
C :…yes, my wife turns her face away…
she is silent…she carries disappointment.
And my daughter…standing behind her mother… is crying silently, without asking anything…
This makes me feel unbearably small.

T :..hmmm…
your body has fallen…..
What happens to your breath?
C : …uhhh…it has stopped… everything is dark…very dark…

T : आप बिलकुल safe हैं… you are protected here…

लम्बी गहरी सांस लीजिए…
( Silence…)

see from a distance
Where are you and what do you see?
C :… I am floating above…feel so free…so light…
( Client’s voice is soft n peaceful )
there is white space… shining lake… memories playing in water…

T : Is someone around?
C : …yes… a tall being…
like my mama ji … same eyes… very loving.

T : what is he wanting to tell you…?
C : Money is a tool… and not identity.

T : and…?
C : मेरी सुरक्षा धन से नहीं आएगी

T : क्या आप समझ पा रहें हैं ?
C : ( breathes deeply )
हां
He is asking me to release what I carried while dying…

T : with a count from 3 to 1 you will release this vow…
3…2…and 1…
release the vow that money must never be lost…
See n feel it’s moving out from your body… काले धूएं…काले बादल के रूप में…
आपके शरीर से बाहर निकल रही है…
उसे अपने से दूर… दूर जाते हुए देखिए…
Release… release…release…
release… release… release…
C : …( silence )

T : say…
मैं सुरक्षित हूँ, चाहे धन आये या जाये.
C : मैं… सुरक्षित हूँ…सुरक्षित हूँ…

T : say…
I trust again.
C : I trust again…

T : say…
Money flows… it is not held with fear.
C : Money flows… not held with fear…
(his shoulders are visibly relax)

T : now look at your present-life business partner… see if he resembles anyone from past…?
C : … yes…I feel the same energy of betrayal..…

T : look into his eyes…you may feel or know why is he present now in your life ?
C : …he is not for betrayal… but for closure.

T : Place your hand on your chest… n say…
I am safe.
C : I am safe…

T : Wealth does not control my life.
C : Wealth does not control my life.

T : मेरी कीमत धन से नहीं तय होती.
C : ( in a slow emotional voice )
मेरी कीमत धन से नहीं तय होती…

T : you are doing so good…
now, let your heart rest… let your breath expand….everything that once collapsed…
( Client finished the sentence himself )..…will not collapse now.

T : now, on the count of 5… you may if you are willing, may drift back into this room…..into your present awareness…

C: hmm….

T: 5…breath deeply…
4 …heart melts…
3 …feel your body…
2…your eyes feel ready
and..1…you are fully awake…
Take your time…n slowly …very slowly you may if you feel like open your eyes….take ur time…
Silence…
Tears drooling, but smiling.
C : says very softly…
It was not my fear… it was the words from dying moments…

T : ( gently ) …and today… you returned those last words… and took new ones.

From today money will stop being for survival.
Trust will stop being danger…and your
Identity is separated from wealth.
C : nods.

As the session came to an end, the room felt different.
Quieter…. Lighter….
As if something that had been held for far too long had finally been put down. We looked at each other in silence.

Vijay did not leave with excitement or euphoria.
He left with stillness.

This kind of stillness that comes when the nervous system realises and
there is nothing left to protect against.

When he softly said,
“It wasn’t my fear… it was their words from dying moments,”
I knew the healing had already happened.

Because the moment fear stops feeling personal, it stops controlling life.

What Vijay carried for years was not weakness, not anxiety, not lack of confidence.
He carried unfinished responsibility….spoken in the final breaths of other lifetimes,
mistaken by the soul as instructions for survival.

In this life, those instructions had done their job.
They had kept him alert, responsible, disciplined. but they had also kept him afraid.

Today, those words were returned.
With respect.
With gratitude.
Without resistance.

This is not about forgetting the past, it is about placing it where it belonged.

As a therapist, I did not feel like someone who has “fixed” something.
I felt like a witness to completion.

A soul remembered where the fear began,
understood why it stayed,
and chose consciously to no longer live by it.

This choice is powerful.

From here on, life will still have fluctuations….business will still rise and fall…..decisions will still carry uncertainty, but Vijay will no longer experience them as collapse, because the collapse already happened and it has already been healed.

He did not lose wealth.
He did not lose control.
He did not lose safety.

He had once lost himself.

And in this session,
he came home.

Sometimes healing does not look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like a deep breath…
relaxed shoulders…
and the quiet knowing that

“I am safe now.”

And that, in truth, is where every healing journey is meant to end.
