I recently finished reading “ Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” Very interesting and thought-provoking.
Its core message is about identifying our unconscious habits and emotional patterns. The book explains how we often run on autopilot, unknowingly recreating the same experiences, reactions, and outcomes over and over again. It explores how we can become aware of these patterns and consciously change them through meditation, visualization, and intentional practice to create a different future. Like any healing or meditation practice, it isn’t a magic switch, it’s a gradual process that requires consistency and self-awareness.
After a long time, I found a book that I actually finished from cover to cover. Ironically, the first habit it helped me break was my habit of leaving books unfinished
Thank you! It was a good read, and can be useful to form new patterns, specially after PLRT, when someone/something triggers the same wound, you can reprogram yourself with the help of guidance shared in the book.
Thank you Sir!! Yes some books just connect to you. I felt so blessed after reading this book, like it was my calling, at times we don’t find things but they actually find us I guess that’s too much hype about this book now from me
not at all a hype, its your joy you are expressing on having gone through something profound. It’s very good and inspiring for all of us. You know what I’ve bumped it up my reading queue because of you.
I can resonate with this feeling my blessed Harmeet @hc2101 actually I had this floating on the clouds for several weeks moment after reading “Many Mansions” by Gertrude… and earlier still the Bhagvatam… Books truly change our lives.
if life is a journey,
some books are a landmarks or milestones on it… measuring our progress !
Yes so true Sir. Books shape your whole perspective and thought process and sometimes I wonder there’s so much to learn and experience. I get this euphoric feeling when I find something that changes me from within and ask ‘where have you been all my life’ how did I not know this? I feel like this occasionally when some light bulb switches on in my brain
