Will My Life Change After Regression Sessions?

Here’s the Truth…

Inspired by the work of Dr. Brian Weiss

Sometimes my clients ask me,
“Will my life really transform after just past life regression sessions?”
And here’s what I always tell them:

A session can open the door—but it’s what you do with what you see that truly transforms your life.

This idea is perfectly shown in the writings of Dr. Brian Weiss, one of the most respected pioneers of past life regression therapy. In one of his cases, a man went through regression and remembered a past life that helped him understand his pain and emotional patterns in the present.

But what made his story powerful wasn’t just what he saw—it was what he chose to do with that knowledge.

Insight Alone Doesn’t Heal. Your Choices Do.

After the session, the man could have walked away unchanged. He could have treated the experience like a dream, ignored the lessons, and gone back to his usual way of thinking.

But he didn’t.

He made different choices:

  • He opened his heart.
  • He let go of anger and control.
  • He chose to love, forgive, and live more openly.

That’s when the healing started. Not because of the memory—but because of his decision to grow.

This is something I’ve seen again and again with my own clients. The real transformation happens after the session, when they begin to apply what they’ve learned in real life.

What Dr. Weiss Teaches Us About Free Will

In the book, the therapist tells the man:
“You exercised your free will.”*

That one line says it all.

Regression therapy gives you a map—but you have to walk the path.
Even when someone sees a deep truth about themselves during a session, healing isn’t automatic. It takes effort, reflection, and a willingness to change.

The man in the story could have stayed stuck. Instead, he used his free will to become a better version of himself—kinder, more aware, more connected to love.

Why This Matters for You

If you’re considering past life regression or you’ve already experienced it, remember this:

It’s not just about what you see. It’s about how you let it guide your present life.

  • Did you see a lifetime where you carried guilt? Can you now forgive yourself?
  • Did you see how a past fear is still showing up today? Can you begin to let it go?
  • Did you experience love or purpose in another life? Can you bring more of that into this one?

These are the real gifts of regression. It’s not about fantasy or escape—it’s about awakening to who you really are and making conscious choices to grow.

A Message from My Heart to Yours

So when someone asks me,
“Will this change my life?”
I say:
“It absolutely can. But the healing isn’t just in the session—it’s in your heart, your choices, and your actions afterward.”

The client in Dr. Weiss’s book healed because he chose to listen. He chose love over fear. He chose growth over stubbornness. He let the lessons of his soul lead his present life.

And you can, too.

Beautifully written Dr. Sshipra Bharadwaj …

Yes,…life does change after the regression session. Sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically, sometimes through external shifts, sometimes through an inner peace that makes everything lighter…

As Carl Jung beautifully said:

Until we make the unconscious conscious, it will direct our life and we will call it fate.

What I have understood till now is that regression is one of the profound tools to make the unconscious conscious and in that lies the key to true change.

My viewpoint as a Therapist is that regression is not magic. It doesn’t erase life’s responsibilities or challenges, but it does something deeper…it changes us at the root…at the subconscious and soul level. And when we change inside, our outer world inevitably begins to reflect that…

And this happens when…

We stop repeating old cycles unconsciously.

We understand the soul connections with people in our life, that why certain relationships feel heavy, karmic, or deeply loving…

We heal unfinished emotional wounds that otherwise color our present experiences.

We reconnect with our soul wisdom, which gives us clarity and peace in facing life challenges…
